The snow in the front was 18 inches at the time of measuring...And it carried on snowing afterwards...

I spent some of the morning cutting and clearing the destruction of the front hedge...In the continuing snow...Apparently the chap next door wants to take a chainsaw to the side hedge and have been told that he wants me to help clear it...

Now, I have no problem with doing it...(it needs doing)...But I'll be asked first ta... ...So I may be busy...Or not...I'm just awkward like that...

I might end up working all day, too. We hired a new cashier to take the pressure off us, and she didn't show up yesterday. She's supposed to come in today. If she doesn't, I'll have to cover for her. Whilst hacking and coughing and shivering. At least so have my wits about me this time. Last time I got sick I didn't know if I was coming or goijg.

I hope she comes in. When you cough, do you sound congested?

Ok, what about a sore throat? Fever? Chest pains? It might me bronchitis....you should go to a doctor before it gets worse.

I meant I WON'T nearly kill myself. That's what happened in December. My manager forced me to work all day when it was at its peak. I won't do that this time.

Yep. I'm by myself. The cashier has five minutes to show up and if she doesn't, I'll be calling her and asking her if she wants to keep her job. I don't have time for this. I have to pee.

Seems like you have alotta problems at work, Liz. Robbery, stealing and missing cashiers. Maybe time to do something else?

I had to call the other manager just so I could get a bathroom break. Good lord. We keep hiring people, then they never show up for their shifts. We know they didn't move or die because I see them around town.

That really doesn't seem right. I'm sure a lot of people will be fired soon because that is pure laziness

I still don't get why people bother getting a job where you work I they're not even going to show up! I agree with TheTrueCaboose here, that's just being lazy. Geez.
