QUOTE(Grits @ Mar 23 2013, 01:13 PM) Beautiful sunset, Lopov! It that Loypuur?
Yes, that's him.

Yay, Buffy pictures! Her wardrobe is a continuing source of delight. That cold rain probably didn’t even touch her. My favorite is the last one. What a sweet moment with the adorably lethal bowgirl and her precious mare. (And I must say how perfect her hair looks in that picture!! Magnus loves blondes. ) Lovely shots of Lothran, mirocu. The Anvil harbor is my favorite. And I love those skies, Lopov. At least the sunsets are still pretty over Kvatch. I like to see how Loypuur's armor choice is evolving.

We used a lot of super secret magic so that Buffy lives in a post Oblivion Crisis world, but she is not the Champion of Cyrodiil. This suited our purpose; enabling the full rebuild of Kvatch is just one small benefit. At this point, we are well adjusted to the post crisis world and no one ever calls Buffy a hero or any sort (mod) so it is easy to roleplay and move beyond the crisis.
There are less than a dozen dead Oblivion Gates marring her world. In her world, Kynareth's spriggans have planted vines that reclaimed the ruins of countless other gates across Tamriel. A few are resistant. It seems those that were sustained by a fire-based sigil stone either burn forever or, when their flame goes out, the scorched ground refuses to accept any plant growth. The stuff about blaming fire sigils for those gates that burn forever is purely my imagination at work trying to answer my curious elf's questions. Lol.
The city of Kvatch is fully populated with shops and guilds. All the buildings work and the population is a mix of repatriated familiar encampment refugees and new NPCs. We have not tried using the Arena, since for Buffy's purposes, Kvatch's new ruler has transformed it to a cultural ampitheater. My understanding from the mod's thread however, is that the Arena does work, albeit with some bugs apparently.

I've added so many post-MQ quests into my mods that I'm also looking towards creating another to bypass the MQ, so I can create new test characters without having to take them through it. I like the "someone else did it" principle, as it make sense that all the MQ events should have happened, even if the Player Character didn't get as directly involved.
The "past game PC" characters are routinely acknowledged but put of range by the game. The Nerevarine has gone off on an expedition, etc. I'm sure the same could be done for the CoC, but my own FF has him become the new Count of Kvatch, so I'll likely make a private mod where that happens, and work on top of some of Kvatch Rebuilt to make it happen.
If anyone else likes that idea, I could try and package it up. I don't want to make it too public, as there would be way too many opinions on what quest-lines to shortcut, and who the CoC actually was. Kvatch Rebuilt gives you the choice of installing yourself, or a son of Goldwine, so the easiest path is probably converting the latter. As my need is for an add-in mod for my test characters, I'm biased towards simple and easy.
I'll open a fresh thread in "Mod Ideas" where we can discuss this.
