Yeah, I'm still pretty mad at him.

D'you know, over the weekend, I got over two thousand words done over two, hour and a half writing sessions while the wife and kids were watching some Jap-animation films...So I get up early today, so I can do a load more with much loud headphone-ness...And, it's such a struggle... ...Hence my despairing of being a grown-up on the other thread...

Enjoy yer youth people...You get old way too quick...Urgh...

When it is distilled down to its essence, the point is simply to get words on the page. Not "good" words, or "the right" words... simply words upon which you can hang the ideas and scenes and people you know you want in there. The words do not even have to be in any particular order of events or make complete sentences.

Just- words on the page. If a small old doggie's thoughts and blessings can help, be sure you have them.

I think you would be a candidate for Dragon Naturally Speaking or similar. I have looked at it over the years. Because I also really hate the difficulty of getting the words from head to Word file.

I still recall a radio program about one of those phone systems and how it has... shall we say "regional" issues.

They had a Louisiana Cajun chief of police. And being a sorta Southerner myself, I could understand him. But the computer program was just LOST.
