Yes, it does. Which will add a whole five minutes to the installation time, and about 10 seconds to type in your password to play it if you don't set it to switch on every time you boot up. And then it does nothing except mention the occasional achievement.

And I really have to ask, what's wrong with Human Revolution? Edit: And don't say 'boss fights' because knows and agrees that they weren't implemented as well as they could be.

Well, then it´s a no no for me no matter how good it is. I don´t buy games that forces me to use internet sites to play. And it doesn´t matter if I´m online to chat like I do here, I don´t want to be forced to use the internet when I just want to play a single player game.
But I´ve had enough of this over at Bethsoft so I won´t dig deeper into this here


Actually, I haven´t played that game and just very, very little of Invisible War. I don´t really hate the sequels, I just love the original too much. The characters, the music, the events, the gadgets... It was done to perfection imv,vho in the original game and the other ones simply cannot top that, nor can any game really. But if you like it, all the better for you

Also, Mirocu, I've discovered a solution to your Steam problem. Just buy it on a console and play it on that. And yes, that's a serious response. Never before have I had a game have my brain firing so many intellectual cylinders before. Ever. I think it might be the best game I've ever played.

I´m holding off on new games anyway now as I´m pretty busy with Oblivion and Fallout 3. But thanks for the advice on the console. I actually have Skyrim for the PS3, no console yet however

Oooh...My latest Fallout 3 playthrough came to an end today after several freezing episodes during the Endgame to Broken Steel...Fun though it was to go over the same ground several times...*Rollseyes*...

Still, it ended...And now I've started Dungeon Siege III again with a different character to last time...That's a fun game, I'm looking forward to building my tank Knight up...Oh yes...Last time I was a mage-ish...It's complicated... ...

Would you all say Bioshock Infinite could be enjoyable to a person who has never played the original Bioshock?

Ehhh, tricky to answer, really. You'd have a lot of fun, but I've got a feeling that the actual brilliance and depth of the ending, which is what elevates it from a really good game to an absolute coup of storytelling, may well be completely lost on you if you haven't played the first one.

Well, I have plenty of games to play. It's not like I need a new game or anything. I still haven't finished the new Tomb Raider. I'm playing it with a friend and, unlike myself, she actually has a life. So we're progressing slowly.

Actually, I think it's kind of interesting what we're doing. We've invented a sort of low-rent, home-made, co-op multiplayer. The two of us have two computers running at the same time. Our main gaming computers run Tomb Raider. The second computers run an instant messaging program.

We send our two Lara Crofts through the same areas at the same time, texting back and forth on our second computers as we play. It's a wonderful combination of single-player experience combined with some of the companionship of playing an MMO.

We're talking about playing other games like this. We both play Elder Scrolls games so we might start playing Oblivion and Skyrim this way too.

Interesting idea, I must say. How do you do the chat and the game at the same time, out of interest? Whenever I try to alt-tab into Skype or anything out of most games, my computer just throws a great big hissy fit.

I probably wasn't very clear. We both use two computers: she uses two and I use two. So altogether we are using four computers. Both of us keep our second computers located right next to our gaming computers. When I play Tomb Raider with her I have both keyboards sitting right next to each other. I move my hands back and forth between the gaming keyboard and mouse and the IM keyboard and mouse. She does the same thing on her end.

We live on opposite sides of the US and I don't own a telephone. We both had unused computers lying around, so she got the idea of turning them into dedicated, always-on, instant messaging terminals - something like the hot line between Washington and Moscow. We message back and forth any time of the day or night. Since these extra computers were constantly connected to each other anyway, heck, why not use them while gaming?

Wow, a hot line! That is just brilliant! I have a second PC next to my gaming rig as well, though I usually do not use it for much. It does come in handy for looking up console codes, or looking through a game faq or wiki if I am stuck.

Fallout 3! Brings back memories. It's the only RPG where I actually had only one serious character and about four or five test ones that didn't make it even to Megaton because I changed my mind about them. I have/had multiple characters in all other RPGs that I've played but not FO3. I think this condition is called mirocu's syndrome . My character Ronny completed MQ and all the DLCs except Anchorage, I lost interest in FO3 by then and returned to Oblivion. It's a shame but he got deleted when I bought a new laptop.

I didn´t know you played FO3. Or did I just forget about it?

I did yes, but after New Vegas. It wasn't true RP really, I was using online map to discover all possible locations because I didn't know that you can see nearby locations on a compass. Which of course means that I didn't know this in FNV before either. My character Ronny was a good guy, helping almost everyone and never killed an innocent being, he was sometimes merciful to his enemies. But he didn't spare Augustus Autumn.

I liked it a lot, in some aspects even more than FNV but overall I like FNV more.
