Maybe four years back I had a neighbour girl do the same thing. I mean she almost went around with a sign saying how much she liked me.

Dude, that's not good. Why someone would take advantage of a young girl is beyond me

While today it´s considered bad, back in the stone age that was very logical. A young girl is stronger and is more likely to survive having a child, and an older man is stronger than a young man and more likely able to protect her and the baby.

It´s all right there, people. Whether you want to believe it or not. Our society has changed since those days, but our DNA hasn´t.

You have a point there.

These days you don't have to protect your family from wild beasts, and parents usually keep their kids at home until an older age, so there's really no reason to do that.

It would explain why girls can have their cycles at young ages.

But yeah, sure. Today those programs serve no purpose, but they are still there even though totally unnecessary. Like the appendix, and the politicans.

@Liz - Definitely. Life expectancy was very low back then. Few got as old as 30 even which means the younger a girl can be and still have a child, the more likely it is for her to have more children before she dies.
