Miss Hollow,

Often the best method for attraction and encouraging desired behaviors is indifference.

While it may seem counter-intuitive, in truth as beings, we all desire to be paid attention too.

Before you can seek the snuggles, you must be willing to go forward and live without snuggles. Much like a good relationship is not two lonely, desperate people, but rather two whole individuals being together out of mutual respect and admiration.

You cannot truly live, until you accept death. You cannot enjoy sweet, without knowing the sour. Et cetera, et cetera.

Do not seek the snuggles...BE the snuggles.

Are you? Or is your snuggling merely a manifestation of an inner fear to be un-snuggled?

I was going to semi-agree with Blackie. If you want Snuggles to snuggle, you have to snuggle something else to lure him in. A toy, husband, etc - make a fuss over hugging and snuggling the other thing, and the child will immediately see he is missing out on something good.

Mentally playing with children's minds...may the vicious cycle continue for many, many generations too come.

Seriously, sometimes I think it's the only reason to have 'em!

Kind of like telling them you have hidden a piece of candy in their (insert food they hate here) and if they eat it all up they will find it? ROFL !!!

** Best have a piece of candy on hand if you do this, and when they have eaten a bunch point behind them and say, "WHAT'S THAT?" - When they turn around you slip the candy on their plate and say "Look, you found it!" lol.

That may be true about a lot of things going on, but not where YOU are concerned. I haven't forgotten when you and husb try to snuggle, Snuggles sticks his socked foot into your mouth.
