QUOTE(Black Hand @ Jun 26 2013, 02:53 PM) He's doing that Tourette's thing again!
(Black Hand!! You should be ashamed of yourself! Tourette's is a very serious condition! Not something to be made light of!)
Actually, it's not that bad. I have two patients that have it, and they make light of it all the time. Plus they dont actually swear, they have involuntary grunts and spasms, however most folks are ignorant of this fact, so they get away with calling crabby nurses names that I only think of. These are my favoritd patirnts, ever!
I have Tourettes Because of the stereotypical "Tourettes Victim" persona, people think I'm lying when I tell them, so I keep it quiet in the real world. They DO notice the facial ticks, though. -sigh- It's not that bad It doesn't hinder me.

Best post I read all day. Although, lack of amorous attention *would* explain a *lot*... It might, lol. It is really surprising how many of the suggestive/amorous/double entendre'd/X-rated/cursing/or just plain filthy posts I think I'm seeing disappear whenever I put my glasses on. QUOTE(Black Hand @ Jun 26 2013, 09:29 PM) Precisely! Own your 'condition' or be a victim of ir. It's a choice.
Besides Thomas Jefferson had Asperger's most likely, and that dude rocked!! Seriously one of my top ten heroes. Ben Franklin is #1 however, model self-made man.
Franklin wasn't as good as a guy as you think. Just saying,American history is VERY diluted
