Finished Brotherhood and am now on AC: Revelations... Three down, two to go... ...Although yes, as the boy pointed out, I still have to finish Liberation and do AC; Bloodlines which is the actual direct sequel to the first AC game which was on the PSP, and therefore the Vita...But still...

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jun 30 2013, 08:55 PM) It does sound very interesting. Not in the least of which because it *gasp* features a female protagonist. But if it is one of those save point games, I'll not waste my money on it. I cannot stand those games.
I hated the way they tried to market "We have a female protangist pay attention to us!" Also. WTF is Remember Me?(A video by Totalbiscuit)

I hated the way they tried to market "We have a female protangist pay attention to us!" Also. Quite the opposite in fact. Having a female protagonist discouraged publishers, who felt a male protagonist would sell better. That's a common theme in games, even today, and I cannot count how many foist a sausage off upon you. Even after Bioware's Mass Effect series showed that is not at all difficult to allow you play a character of either sex, and still have an engaging storyline. QUOTE(King Coin @ Jun 30 2013, 11:32 PM) I am playing Witcher 2 for the first time. Right now, other than being more glitchy than a new Bethesda release, the game has been some fun. Combat seems to consist of running up to your opponent, stabbing them a couple of times, and then quickly rolling in the mud away from them to avoid their counter attack. There is supposed to be a way to pull off a riposte, but that mechanic is broken. I hope it doesn't become important.
I dunno if I'd say more glitch than a Bethsoft game. They've kind of set the record for games that are never completely glitch free. The Witcher 2 is awesome. The story is the main reason I loved it, the gameplay wasn't too bad either though.

I still haven't been able to use the riposte mechanic at all. At the beginning of the game when you aim the ballista, the mouse doesn't work and the directions tell you to use it. Arrow keys work however. There are several goofy graphical glitches (hair spazzing out, bodies and items falling through terrain, ect). I wasn't able to hit the escape key once to save, load, go to main menu, exit game, because my character was interacting with a container and another character initiated dialog. I had to get killed (which was easy) to get that functionality back.
Combat's been a frustrating experience, probably because I can't riposte.
There isn't a way to look up the game's controls from within the game.
The story is very good though, and that's what has kept me interested despite how... unfriendly the game has been.

Ouch. I played it on the 360 and had zero issues. Sorry you're having issues because it is a pretty enjoyable game but I probably wouldn't be happy if I was having issues with combat because it is crucial to the gameplay.

Somethings wrong here. I don't remember that game being so buggy.

Thatīs more than many games I have, and itīs only patches!??
Yes, this is unbelievably huge. I don't know whether to think that's a good thing or a bad thing. It's larger than all games that I have on my computer...with one exception, and that's an online game that has had nine years worth of expansions and content patches: World of Warcraft: 23.1 Oblivion: 5.58 Fallouit 3: 9.93 Fallout: New Vegas: 9.22 Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning: 6.61 Skyrim (with approximately 150 mods installed): 13.5 This post has been edited by Pseron Wyrd: Jul 2 2013, 05:35 PM

QUOTE(Bolzmania @ Jul 4 2013, 08:38 PM) Fable 3 was available for free on the xbox live marketplace a while back, not sure if it still is. I'll probably get around to play it eventually.
Has anyone else played it?
I got it for free and gave it away. It is probably the most shallow "RPG" I have ever played and was a step backwards for the series in my opinion. If I'd paid a dollar for it I would have felt like I got ripped off. Also, the replacement of menus in order to create a more real experience ended up making even the most minor tasks tedious and down right annoying.
