Tomorrow is my first day with my actual team. I'm nervous and worried about the workload. I look weird when I sweat XD

I ALSO found out yesterday that my old boss, the one who fired me, has lost people and has people wanting to transfer out or giving their notices because no one can stand working with him. In two weeks, he's had all of the new people he hired (Three) ask to leave.

See? There's something wrong with that dude. Obviously NOBODY can stand that.....you get the point.

Found out recently that the one patient I was talking about a couple of weeks ago, did pass away last week. Sad, and it was a bit unexpected, as the guy was more or less pretty healthy. He could still walk, and was fully there. I only had him a handful of times, but we did bond very quickly.

He and I would have deep, philosophical discussion at four in the morning. His favorite concept was apparently: "What is Reality?" Something I've been pondering for years.

The drive itself was under twenty minutes, but I would stick around his center for another good 10-15 minutes to finish our conversations, and he seemed to be appreciative, as I certainly was to have another kindred spirit that valued philosophy. I'm unaware of the details of his passing, but I hope that he went peacefully.

I know also, that he was well loved if the families reaction was any indication. When we went to pick him up, his wife was deeply saddened, and there were many cars in the driveway and street around his place, even though it was only a few hours earlier that she found him. I don't mean that in a way to impart sadness, but rather the amount of people who cared about him and showed up at a moments notice.

Rest well my friend. We'll pick up our conversation where we left off someday.

Sounds like a very nice person Maybe he now has the answer about Reality he always wanted...

Great man, probably not. Wise and gentle, interesting and insightful definitely. I think he reminded me a lot of dad who passed away three years back now, which may be why I'm giving it as much emotional investment as I am. Otherwise, I'm hoping to to leave on a road trip in about three weeks up to Washongton Dtate to meet with an old friend.

This guy, this guy is....the real-life Sethyas. I met him well after I started my story, but...yeah. He's smart, smd compassionate on the one hand. He's merciless oj the other. This dude worked for a PMC and has been aroind the world and is from Eastern Europe...if you don't get the picture I'm painting...he's not sokeone you wanna get into a barfight with.

I had a great first day. I went in, did my job, and came home.

You got the early shift, or the graveyard?

Early. Loved it.

Edit: got someone's blood on me. Dunno whose, but it's there.
