It scared me!


So here is my thought for today:


Budweiser’s new shaped cans are a rip! The net weight is now 11.3 oz instead of 12 oz, and for the same price. My husband has gone into a massive search for stores selling the old cans, wanting his .7 oz back.

He hadn’t noticed the discrepancy until he showed me the new can shape, and I (when will I learn to keep my mouth shut?) mentioned “I’ll bet you’re getting less beer now.”

It is on, Anhauser-Busch! The beer is now costing a fortune in gasoline as he scours all the nearby towns for the old-shaped cans.

And here I thought he had suddenly taken to crushing the cans in the middle like some kind of he-man! Argh.

We're largely self-regulating here, I think we all know what the limits are and rarely go beyond them. Not to say that we don't all have a bad day or eight months like I did back in '08 and ragequit/leave/et cetera.

Now on with testing our limits and stretching the limits of good taste!!
