Unless you´re talking about the original Wolfenstein 3D, which I btw play on and off on my Compaq Presario 520 (Windows 3.11), you´re not talking about the real Wolfenstein.

Used to scare the bejeezus out of me for some reason.

I used to be freaked out by CyClones and that game isn´t scary at all. I guess it was the whole 3D thing making me feel like I was really being hunted by those aliens. Now however I´ve played Doom 3 and the torch has been passed on.

for me, gaming is better on console. Partly because there are no compatibility issues and crashes/freezing are extremely rare.

It is also becoming more and more common to require always online or steam for PC games, which is annoying.

But if there are compatibility issues and crashes/freezing or things like the Abomb, there´s always a solution for the PC which is the main reason I still play with Lothran


I agree 100% there. Online requirements makes me mad!! But online activation and such for the console isn´t an impossibility either. Maybe the new Xbox or the one after that will force you to be online when playing too

The new Xbox One was going to have an always online requirement but the fan reaction was so negative that they backtracked pretty quickly. Looks like for the next 5-6 years consoles will still be free of this annoying requirement in which you never really own your game.

I thought the only thing they backed down on was the "No used games" thing, but I could be wrong.

They've backed down on pretty much everything expect you have to buy the kinect,you don't NEED it on and plugged in anymore but they don't sell a XBOX without the kinect which is stupid,because if they put out a 100 dollar less XbOne then there's not much diffrence between it and the PS4

Well, I'm glad they backed down on the other crap though. I personally do not like the idea of putting listening and viewing devices attached to the internet and having them running in any room of my house period, the idea that you had to keep them on just so you could clap or speak to them makes no sense at all in anyone's house that has children/pets/a spouse/a life. They are going to talk/meow/bark, and the XBox is going to immediately try to figure out what command they just gave.

Examples:

1. Dog makes a muffled yip while scratching flea:

XBox: "Did you wish to play a game?"

Dog hears strange voice coming from bedroom - "WOOF WOOF WOOF!" Household is woken up.


2. Husband to wife:

"Come on, baby..."

XBox: "Excuse me, did you wish to play a game?"


3. Mother to household:

"Shhh. Don't make a sound, I finally got the baby to sleep..."

XBox: "IF YOU WISH TO PLAY A GAME, YOU MUST SPEAK LOUDER! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

Well you don't have to use the kinect,what I mean is they're only going to sell an XBOX/kinect package,which is useless if you don't use the kinect.

Microsoft or hackers (pervs) listening in to your house or watching your kids sleep, etc.

Oh I am not sure not everyone in the NSA are pervs. They only watch us in our bathtubs to keep us safe from terrorism!
