QUOTE(treydog @ Sep 14 2013, 04:08 AM) *

Randomly rambled the Badger into versification's midst
Squirrels scarpered and disembodied hands havered
Surely Sheo surreptitiously slithered on striped one's shadow
Furrowing mussed mustelid brow he pondered,
"What happened to the biscuits?"

*Pauses with popcorn close to open mouth* ohmy.gif ...

Oh that's...That's just...

*Stands, tipping popcorn everywhere, then applauds heartily and loudly*...

Wow...

*Applauds some more*...

Never said you did.

It was definitely not heavily implied in the slightest. I'm also very tired and at.work....

The hand removed the blackened hood
marking him with Mephala's blood
And for these hours donned one of white
For lives to save instead of fight.

Well, I more 'transport' lives then save them....usually.

Took a 22 y/o male to the hospital for a routine check-up today. Quadriplegic. Alert, but due too severe brain damage from his post-trauma can't talk. Could nod and give thumbs up though, and kinda laugh.

Everyone was fawning over him treating him like a glass slipper.

The second I get him into the back of the ambulance, I kinda stare at him for a second and said point blank: "Dude...you got some cute-as-hell nurses, huh?"

He nodded, laughed and gave me a thumbs-up. The appreciation in being treated like a fellow human was pretty evident in his eyes, we had to wait for his room for like forty-five minutes. I had him cracking up with youtube the whole time.

It's the little things in life...

Those moments with you in transport will probably stay in his memory, too. You made him forget everything going on with himself for a short while, feel normalcy for a while. Pretty awesome, Blackie.

Hopefully.

Oh yeah, couldn't be more quintessentially English, could it?

On the other hand, the vast amounts of PG Tips I'm now able to drink is making me feel much better.

They're tangled up in the sheet or under the bed - or on Snuggles!

If you have a flashlight it should reflect off the glasses so you can pinpoint where they fell - probably directly down from the headboard against the wall.
