Back when people were using flip phones the FBI could turn it on and listen in whether or not a call was being placed. Id imagine theyre capable of that as well now, yes.

The government records and stores every single call, text, and email that you send. Google records everything you search for and sells that information to advertising companies who use it to sell you things.

I wouldn't worry about it honestly. It has already been going on since the the tech was created. Any time you connect to the internet, carry a smart phone, or place a call on any phone, it is possible that someone somewhere is listening/tracking you.

Technology is something of a double edged sword. On one hand it makes our lives easier and makes communication as simple as pressing a couple of buttons. On the other hand it is basically a voluntary surrender of all privacy.

Hes a theoretical astrophysicist whos also personable and he explains how this is a normal growing pain for type zero.civilizations on the verge of becoming type one civilizations such as ours.

The next one hundred years will be the most crucial he says, and will determine whether or not we see.our extinction or our ascension on the horizon.

I'd like to think we're capable of ascension. I'd much prefer it over extinction. For every shortcoming we have I see a positive quality. Humans can do, and can be better. I know this, you all know this. When we see a truly selfless act of kindness, when forgiveness is chosen over bitterness, those higher areas of.mind and heart are ignited, and we feel hope.

My phone has the front-facing camera. I hope they enjoy the images of me texting while pooping. Yeah, that look of concentration ain't for the convo.

I dunno. I'm afraid of death. I've always been afraid of it. I'd honestly prefer to fight to live than have the human race go extinct.

Death is inevitable, we know this from a young age. Yet, we deny, fear, bargain and do nearly everything to avoid it. All things are impermanent and subject to change. Instead of fearing it, perhaps it is we that need to change our perspective upon things. All reality outside our individual perspective occurs independently of our desire to control it....end of sermon. Resume independent thinking, and thanks for tolerating.
