treydog, LOL. You have suffered the scorn of your cats, but at least you were wearing pants. A sinus infection does cloud the judgment. I once tried to lock my front door with a pair of swim goggles (instead of keys) while heading out to finally get decongestants. I took it as a sign that I shouldnt drive. I hope youre feeling better!

Thats great news, Liz! Thanks for letting us know. smile.gif

Sorry to hear about that, KoB. Hug_emoticon.gif

Ditto what Acadian said here, Kobby. I don't know why or how, but they are missing out on the joy and laughter you bring everyone around you, the comfort you bring to anyone in need of it. Knowing you is one of the brightest spots of my life, I wish they could know the side of you we all do.

Well I spent all of yesterday sicker than I've been in years. I'll spare you the details suffice to say that at the time, I felt that death would be a release.

Anyways today I feel like I could run a marathon!

I saw my cousin today. She can sit up and talk, but she gets tired easily. Otherwise she seemed like she wasn't doing bad. She sees the doctor tomorrow for her eye. Nothing should be amputated. She was really glad for the company. She said it's lonely at the nursin home where she's at.

Liz, that is great that you saw your cousin. Sounds like she's not doing too badly, and I'm sure that your visit brought her some needed cheer.

I'm glad you were able to see her and that she's not going to lose any parts. smile.gif I bet it does get boring there though. She might be asking for your xbox and Skyrim. wink.gif

I agree with Acadian on it being the 24 hour flu, but the incubation on them is usually 3 days (meaning you could have exposed your wife and baby during the incubation without knowing you were sick) - hope they make it through this okay and don't suffer the flu like you did !!! Glad you are feeling better, too!

When I began showing symptoms I sent the baby to my parent's place to limit his exposure. Luckily I hadn't been around him much the last few days due to work so hopefully he will be alright.

My husband's grandmother, who raised him, is on life support right now. She has colon cancer, and the tumor was removed on Thursday, but she hasn't recovered from the surgery. She hasn't woken up from it. She had been squeezing hands and moving, but not anymore. It's just slight movement now. I got a call at work saying she was passing away, but now they're not so sure. She's stubborn. Really stubborn.
