Well, I saw a deer very early this morning but I couldn´t shoot because it looked so cute it was still too dark and he didn´t stand in the right position; I needed him to stand with his full side towards me. Furthermore he vanished pretty soon too.

*tries to come up with more excuses but draws a blank*

Come on! You should've shot it. The meat is very good and the pelt can be a nice decoration for the cabin

If one can´t get a clean, good shot one shouldn´t shoot. Besides, it was so dark I could barely even see the damn thing in the scope!

And even if I half-blind had taken a shot, the bullet wouldn´t have gone clean through the lungs and I would have most likely ended up tracking him. You can´t make a good shot at something standing in a 45 degree angle. They teach this in hunting class!

I don't remember the model I had. It's been a very long time I went hunting, and I was a kid, so I got to shoot a few times, but mostly my uncle would do the shooting.
