Now I'm getting curious about it.

*Checks Amazon*

Released February 2014? Looks like I've a while to wait.

Season Two airs in February. Season One is out on dvd now. I have been pricing it. The History Channel wants $50, but Best Buy only wants $40.

Not in the UK. So I have to wait. sad.gif

On a related note, is anyone else slightly annoyed by the horned helmet worn by the viking emoticon?

Watched a couple of episodes of "Revolution" last night. Turned out to be a pretty interesting series despite me going in without much enthusiasm.

Going back towards Vikings, I've just been watching The 13th Warrior.

Antonio Banderas going along with a bunch of Vikings, what's not to like?

Like Callidus, I am going back towards The Vikings too. I am watching The Vikings instead! biggrin.gif Not the tv show, but the movie from the Sixties with Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, and Ernest Borgnine. It is dated, but still has its charms.

Very often it´s the old movies that have the greatest charm and atmosphere smile.gif

I'm not thrilled with the Venus of Willendorf/"Kill the mother" business. That nearly ruins the movie for me.

Yeah this bugs me also but overall the movie was quite entertaining to me.

Yeah, but after seeing Shrek 2 I can't help thinking of him as Puss in Boots at times biggrin.gif

I'm going to be geting hold of that at the weekend. Planning to borrow that and V for Vendetta off a friend, the latter of course for November 5th.

*Googles Venus of Willendorf*

Yeah, that does seem a little out of place.

I'll be honest, I mostly watch it for the fights and vikings.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the show just called Vikings and not The Vikings? laugh.gif

Still watching The Vikings. Is it just me, or does it look like King Aelle is being played by Peter Jackson?

Here's Vikings, season 2 trailer if you haven't seen it already.

Geez, if what happens in the trailer actually plays out in the season, that's a hell of a spoiler.

Doctor Who marathon this afternoon. Well, perhaps not a marathon. As many as we can watch before something interrupts. smile.gif
