So does that make us artificial constructs made to trick you into thinking we're people for some reason and failing?

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe it´s not me who´s insane, but rather you, and I´m the one who´s actually the normal one?

Well, yeah, of course I have.

Problem is this:

If I am insane, then I'm in no state of mind to act on that in any meaningful way. And if I'm not insane, then wondering whether or not I am insane is a complicated thing.

And since sanity has yet to be satisfactorily defined, I question the sanity of anyone who claims to be sane.

Of course, since all of the above is likely insane...

Socializing is a no no

You can be insane and still form complete sentences. And whether an act is meaningful or not is in a way like beauty; in the eye of the beholder.

The sane and the insane can easily switch places and you can suddenly find yourself in a padded cell, asking yourself how you came to end up there

Ah, but acting while insane would be like walking through a desert without a point of reference. You end up going in circles. If your view or interpretation of the world is off, then while you can be internally consistent, objective meaning is hard to come by. I might be able to convince myself I'm sane, but that wouldn't necessarily make me so.

Probably Push, always loved that film.
