mirocu, while some may gently jest with you about thread necromancing, I think most of us rather appreciate your unique talent for finding older threads that remain perfectly relevant to this day – in some ways even more so because we can see what folks were saying a few years ago. CT, I hear ya. I know what you mean about vs threads on the OB forums at BethSoft (and the specific active one you’re referring to). I avoid them for a couple reasons: 1. I go to the OB forums to talk about OB, not any of Bethesda’s other fine games (which each have their own subforums). Technically, threads discussing multiple TES games should be in BethSoft’s ‘TES General Discussion’ forum. 2. Those threads never seem to go well over there.

The Bethesda forums were great and fun for the first year, and then people started getting immature and very annoying to the point of pushing your buttons. I actually got eight or nine warnings when the most one can get is four, I believe. And then in the end I got banned. Those forums were crazy and the arguments pointless. It is a hostile environment. I plan on returning once I move to another country. No way the mods can IP track me there. So I'll start the slow process of becoming a mod there so I can ban Rohugh, Summer and all the other mods and successfully implode the system and unban the just! One can dream

I think it´s rather fun to find and read those old threads too. Plus they make me realize I have opinions on things I didn´t know I had opinions about QUOTE(Darkness Eternal @ Nov 19 2013, 07:06 PM) The Bethesda forums ..... It is a hostile environment. QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Nov 19 2013, 09:35 PM) My son is awesome. He stayed in his crib for two hours while I slept. He wasb't quiet, but that's a good thing lol. If he was quiet, I woke up to see why he wasn't making noise.
Ahh, the joys of motherhood QUOTE(Acadian @ Nov 19 2013, 09:35 PM) Ahah! Leydenne and I have exchanged birthday greetings for years. We now know the crow was born on the 5th day of May! You already know it! I said it this year and you told me to write it down on my page @Rohirrim - You mean the game after Skyrim? This post has been edited by mirocu: Nov 19 2013, 09:43 PM

I don't mind the threads being resurrected at all personally and have found some interesting discussion in them. On the second point, I agree completely with Colonel Mustard. I think VS threads are programmed to become hostile from the very start. I just don't think much good will come of them. That said I don't exactly have a stance against them being created as long as everyone plays nice, I just have doubts that it will happen.

@Callidus - You mean the game after Skyrim?
If you mean me, yeah. Dammit! Don´t quote me until I have a chance of edit my post! Sorry, I´ve had too many dealings with Callidus lately So, what do you think it´ll be about?

Summoned, I come And since I'm here... No doubt TESVI will be yet anoter overblown story of only you can save the world. Since Skyrim sold so well, that'll only reinforce their inclination to widen the target audience. As you can tell, I'm optimistic

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 19 2013, 08:55 PM) I really wish they could go for something a little less epic than saving the world. It´s a tad over-used I´d say, but I guess it´s a working formula But it won´t matter to me anyway if it´s steam only And no, lets not talk about that again. Yeah, it would be nice to see them tone it down a bit, but then they lose out on "da epicz". That would cost them sales. QUOTE(Rohirrim @ Nov 19 2013, 08:57 PM) Maybe the player was a Renjira Krin agent who was captured by the Thalmor, and escapes from slavery in the opening cutscene/tutorial.
In all honesty I doubt they'll even mention the Thalmor, for two reasons: One: Because everyone's expecting it. Two: Because it relegates the villains to the almost comical, frothing-at-the-mouth maniac out to destroy the world. If the enemy behind it all isn't someone you can take seriously it cheapens the whole plot, and the Thalmor idea of destroying the world to remove suffering/purify/whatever the hell else those nuts are about is more than a little ridiculous.
