In other news, I've just written what might be one of the coolest things yet into my novel, that being the paradox revolver, a revolver that kills its targets before you pull the trigger. Because hells yeah.

So... what happens when you pull the trigger?

So the gun kills once before you pull the trigger and then like normal when you do pull the trigger? That´s convenient

The pistol jerked and jittered in his hand as he squeezed the trigger; the bullets had already struck home, the sheer will for consistency that spacetime exerted on the weapon forced its barrel into the right position for a lethal hit. Those he had not yet struck hung in the air, halfway through falling with their bodies flickering and jerking in the uncomfortable space between times, but as soon as the paradox revolver pointed at them, they fell. Rare and forbiddingly expensive as they were, a paradox weapon would always kill, and would kill with the force of the universe behind it.
