Hey, now you´re just copying what I do every night I know. You didn't think that was coincidence, did you?

QUOTE(mirocu @ Dec 11 2013, 08:19 PM) Then maybe I´ll let you bid over me and get stuck buying it Then I can post pictures of it! But yeah, wouldn't want to get stuck with it. Wouldn't want to go near Ebay in general in all honesty. So do you just bid on any game for the NES that's rare and in good condition?

No, there are games like The Jetsons which is a very rare game but I´m not getting that one. I have a feel for what games I want and some are not even rare but games I grew up with but lost over the years. They don´t have to be complete but I want the cart and the label to be fine. -Hey! Get on ebay and jack up the prices for the games I´m trying to sell!

Why? Firstly, it's far too dangerous. Who knows how much I'd end up spending? Secondly, I don't like buying anything used off the internet. Ah, fair enough. But seriously, The Flintstones - Rescue of Dino and Hoppy?

Yeah, I don´t wanna know how much I´ve spent there this year! I get it, but I haven´t been screwed once since I started. Hopefully it stays that way but I think it will. Most people are eager to get good reviews QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Dec 11 2013, 09:39 PM) But seriously, The Flintstones - Rescue of Dino and Hoppy? It´s the prequel to the much rarer game Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, which I´m btw also bidding on I want both games and not just the second one. Those things were actually fun? I'm suddenly more nostalgic for my old N64 and Gameboy games, and glad I missed the NES

Actually those were very good, especially the second one I think. I´ve not played them myself but I´ve seen a few reviews and they were very well done in terms of gameplay with good controls and advanced animations. Apparently hard as s***t in the later stages but fun and addicting to play. I'm still biased against them. Never liked The Flintstones. But if they're actually well-made games, I can't really defend that argument, and by necessity must retract my negative comments and suggestions about the games And how the hell could they make a good game out of the Flintstones way back then, but not make a good sequel to Fable? Despite two attempts? This post has been edited by Callidus Thorn: Dec 11 2013, 09:57 PM

Believe it or not, I´m with you here. But I was impressed with the games and so I decided to add them to my collection QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Dec 11 2013, 09:56 PM) But if they're actually well-made games, I can't really defend that argument, and by necessity must retract my negative comments and suggestions about the games Well, they weren´t butchered like Superman, Spiderman or Silver Surfer at least. Those games I wouldn´t touch with someone else´s ten-feet pole! The NES was actually capable of some pretty advanced graphics and gameplay, some games were almost at SNES level! Then again, some were just a step over the Atari 2600!

My flipping* brother bought Superman in a bundle from America...I think it cost him over $200...He burnt the box before he played it...And then found he couldn't play it on his console... Yeah...My brother...

Also, this is post #1000 Edit: And now... I'm off to play some Borderlands 2. Later. This post has been edited by Callidus Thorn: Dec 11 2013, 10:11 PM

So he burnt the box and didn´t know he couldn´t play PAL-A games on his PAL-B console? I truly am lost for words. No, really! I am!!!! QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Dec 11 2013, 10:06 PM) So, NES games on the whole, were inconsistent? You could say that, yes. It heavily depended on who made the games. Some developers, like LJN, were notorious regarding games with bad controls and boring, uninspired gameplay. And some almost always seemed to hit it off like Sunsoft and Taito. Especially Sunsoft games are famous for having kicka** music in their games Congrats on post #1000! You´re now officially a spammer! ONE-OF-US! ONE-OF-US! ONE-OF-US!
