As it's that time of year for it...We watched Arthur Christmas last night...It was nice...Funny...Not too twee...Properly funny too...Yes, well worth the time...

And today we watched Disney's Frozen...Fair dues...Probably the best one they've done for years tbh...The songs were actually decent...The characters and location designs were amazing...Yes, properly enjoyed that one...

Oh and tonight we watched Person of Interest...That's a damn good show that it...

Finishing up Firefly. I can still enjoy this show even when miserable.

It only makes me depressed when I watch it because of how short it is.

If it makes you feel any better, Dark Horse Comics are releasing a post-Serenity series of graphic novels written by Joss Whedon, which actually look very promising.

This afternoon I saw Jenny Agutter in Magnum. wub.gif

And I just finished watching The Heist. A nice little heist movie with Pierce Brosnan and Tom Skerritt from the 80s. It is a fun game of con vs. con, where you really don't know who is tricking who, and where they are going to jump next.

Blimey, you'll be ahead of me by middle of the week... blink.gif ...If not before...

We're waiting 'till Monday to do the two part Cambodia story together...Of which I know nothing, other than McWife saying "It's a two part Cambodia story"...As she does...

Jenny Agutter indeed. *sigh* She brings back memories.

I am closing in on that two part Cambodia story. It is one I do not remember either. It has been ages since I watched this show. I just watched the one with the east end Cockney punk girl who is Higgins' cousin. Loved her punk outfit, even though she clinked a lot every time she moved. And of course seeing Agatha again is always nice. But as you said, the episode on the whole was pretty uninspiring.

Well, the Cambodia story was excellent!...The best episode for ages...All about "Missing the Action™" when you're older, as I'm sure has been felt by many of us older types...Or is that just me?... biggrin.gif ...Anyways, they go back to "rescue and old army buddy"...And many things ensue...

It features yet another returning actor playing a different part, but this one seems to have had more than his fair share down the series... biggrin.gif ...

And then there was yet another Mac episode, but this one tagged onto a "Rick" episode...*Yawns*...

As I said to McWife last night, I'm still waiting - the Cambodia one aside, which was really good - for an episode that is anywhere near as good as any in the first few series...But we persist...

It's on every day over Christmas!...Well, aside from Xmas Day and Boxing Day...Slackers!!...

EDITIO!!!...

The returned "Mac" is very annoying...And I'm actually getting sick of everyone calling him that...By now you'd think they'd all just call him Jim...It's just a "Coincidence" that he looks exactly like their dead friend, and Bonnick is so annoying that I'm sure calling him "Mac" is pretty much disrespecting the memory somehow...

No, not a fan...

Although, in this last episode (The Love-For-Sale Boat) they do have a lot of fun with the "airports" scenes...

"Lemon?"...

Oh, you'll see... laugh.gif ...

Oh, I also found out that series 8 is only 13 episodes long!!...So it'll finish earlier than we thought!!!...Whoopeee!!...*Does dance of joy*...So that's only...Um...Fifty-five or Sixty episodes to go now...Or something...Oh...*Shlumps and drops head to chest...Then sighs*...

I just caught up with you McB. I watched the Cambodia one Monday, and the Love-For-Sale-Boat Tuesday. I was not as overjoyed with the Cambodia story as you were. Though I still liked it. I was equally ho-hum as you with the Rick/Mac story. The only really good thing about it was the eyecandy. Those Japanese girls were easy on the eyes.

How come you Brits always call a season a series? It makes is sound like every year there is an entirely different show that just happens to have the same name as another show from the year before.

Because you lot take an entire season (or two) - what with your breaks - to get through all the episodes...We have them one after another...In a series...Like... biggrin.gif ...

EDITIONESS!!...We're getting Agents of SHIELD at the US pace...I hate it...Absolutely hate it...With the one week off here...Two there...We'll be back in two months...No...Wait until you can finish the lot and then show the one after another...Ta...

Well I was watching Babylon 5, but I'm not that into it at the moment.

Tomorrow morning I begin watching Firefly. Might even start tonight.

Well, some more off the list...Last night we had one with Dennis Weaver in, he from Duel fame...Playing a good old country boy muso...One of the better ones of late...

And tonight we get Mrs Jones of the kiosk thing, the one always talking to her bloke on the phone...

We'll see...

I saw those two last night. The Dennis Weaver one was decent. It had Red West in it, another Black Sheep alumnus, along with Rick, Mac, and a couple of appearances by the guy who played Lt. Casey, and one by the guy who played Gutterman.

I loved the Ms Jones episode. To me, it hearkened back to the glory days of the first three seasons. And we actually finally get to see her boyfriend Ray!

We just finished it!!... biggrin.gif ...Loved it!!...Who knew Ms Jones was so hot... wub.gif ...

She shares many traits with McWife...I think I'm in love... laugh.gif ...

Ray was played by one of the bosses at Wolfram and Hart, that mega evil place from Angel...Was it Harlan or something...Anyways, he's (the actor) always fun in stuff...

EDITIO!!...I don't think we ever got that Black Sheep thing...I've really got no memories of it being on...But then again, it's not like I watched everything that came over here...It could have been one of them they only showed late at night...

I'm a glutton for punishment it seems. I've begun watching Terra Nova only to find that I love it and much like Firefly, it was never renewed for a second season.

I'm always amazed at how many series I see that never get off the ground, despite being pretty decent...I loved that Invasion thing that was on a few years back...Where aliens come down and replace everyone...It was really good!...I enjoyed it anyways...But it got cancelled...

*Shrug*...Execs!...

There was a point, about three or four episodes in, where we almost stopped watching Agents of SHIELD...The first few episodes were awful...

Then all of a sudden, in the space of two episodes, it became virtually the best programme on tele...Well, apart from Republic of Doyle and Person of Interest...But still, the almost overnight change was stunning...

Love that programme...
