My Internet is fine. The snow doesn't seem to be as bad as they said it would be. Still can't go to work today, because my car is a piece of [censored], but I think I'm gonna go outside in the snow lol

The Boss (mine...Not Springsteen...) decided he was going to re-instate a woodland that his dad destroyed in the '60s in order to make a larger field for grazing...
So, first off...Plant a new hedge... Now I, right, could see the downside of this plan straight off...Thinking, I'm gonna have to do waaaay more work than I should be...This is not my fight etc... Right... So we go measure it up...And it's around 900 meters of hedge altogether... All of this new planted hedge stuff needs "Mulch mats" to protect them from weeds and overgrowth of grass...Plastic sheeting...Strips of it...11m long and 1.5 wide...All of which needs the edge of it digging into the ground... It's not exactly hard...Press edge of spade thing an inch from the edge and press/cut into ground...But each one is *Does maths*...25meters of sheeting to tuck in... My knees are killing me...And we're only halfway through... Urgh...*Throws hands up in disgust*... |

After the hedge (I should have pointed out, but I was in a rush, damned fool, that that's not one long continuous 900 meters, it's three sections that add up to 900 metres btw...I'm not just going in a straight line a kilometre away from the farm ) anyways, after the hedge comes the trees...When I will have the joy of digging in, several hundred or more mats!!!...Yay!!!...These only 1m x 1m though, which will protect the trees from weeds/gress etc...And then we put the plastic protectorates around them...Oh, it's all good fun...And then comes the bluebells; the shrubberies...Oh, the joy never ends...Oh yeah...But that'll be after Christmas now... Only 7 work days until I'm off for Xmas people!!!... You have medicine that makes you tired?... Well, over here, I just call that... My Life!!... Ba-Bum!!... Oh wait, I already did that joke... ... ... |

I was actually picturing a very long, straight hedge.

When the mowing get done by sheep, "stop mowing" equates to "keep the sheep out" which then means "build a hedge". One that the sheep won't eat, of course.
