I would not mind that.

Game testers get paid to sit around and play video games...

I'm sure it's not as fun as you think lol

From what I've heard, it's actually an incredibly boring job; you've got to play a short segment of a game in an exact way to catch any bugs, then replay the same segment in a slightly different way to catch different ones, and then a slightly different way to see if there are any there and so on and and so on for hours.

I'm good at repetition. I could manage that.

But it´s repetition with a slight difference every time! You can´t even let your mind wander 200 miles away as you need to concentrate on that minor difference! wacko.gif

I used to be awesome at letting my hands do the work and my mind go do something else! biggrin.gif

Hmm, seems like the sort of thing that could put a person off gaming for a while. Not to mention it'd probably rin most games for you because you'd still be looking for bugs and glitches.

It'd definitely spoil Bethsoft games for you. Their games have more bugs than an ant colony.

To their defense, the games are very complex and it´s hard to make it all work. But to their attack, they should know how to do it by now tongue.gif

*Leans out of the shadows*

Personally I don't think they test the games thoroughly enough, but considering how long it would take, that's no real surprise.

Of course, if they did their job properly the first time, the testers wouldn't have as much to catch, and could focus on bugs caused by the engine rather than programmer errors.

*Retreats back into the darkness, leaving a faint whisper behind*

Well somebody has to be out here...

I normally don't share details of my private life but I just got yelled at by a woman breast feeding a six year old in Walmart.

Basically I gave her an odd look because her son could breast feed standing up and she had chosen to do so on a bench near the front of the store.

Here's how it went down after my odd glance:

"What's your problem *******?" Says strange woman

"Nothing, I was just caught a little off guard." I replies

"You know it is people like you ruining this country with your politically correct attitudes. Kids that are breastfed longer are more intelligent than those that are fed formula. Maybe if you'd been breast fed longer you'd be more open minded."

In hindsight I probably should have just let it go and walked away from this clearly mentally unbalanced lady but I was annoyed at how rude and generally crazy she'd been so I couldn't resist.

"Yes but is he smart enough to realize that your clinginess will be the reason that he's a social outcast and the sole reason he won't want to talk about his childhood with anyone for the rest of his life?"

Aaaaand that's when the yelling about how it is nobody's business how she chooses to raise her child started and I figured it was time to go before she snapped.

I can only assume that she herself had not been breast fed a sufficient amount for her brain to properly develope. Maybe there's something to her point after all. wacko.gif

I was going to breastfeed until age two. But he had enough by six months lol

Age six is...a long time to do that. And I'm an advocate for the child to wean themselves, but they usually quit at age four when they start noticing the world around them. There are a lot of keyboard warrior mamas on my facebook that like to pick fights by posting statuses like "Don't like that si breastfeed? Then [censored] off." And I'm looking at their activities to see if they've been harrassed and there's never anything public. I think that type is just looking for a fight.

So you looked. There was a child attached to a nipple. People are gonna [censored] look at that. Now had you started yelling at her and giving her a reason to be a c-word, then this post would be different.

Neither was I. My mom was afraid to, and the joke ended up being on her because I was allergic to 98% of the formula at the time. My grandma had to get a special kind because my mom couldn't afford it and WIC didn't cover it.
