Only the annoying ones that attack villages while I'm trying to do things. Otherwise, we're good.

I don´t care too much for dragons actually. Bit complicated as to why though

Horses like to try to bite me. Luckily it hasnt happened yet. I used to love horses.

But seriously. Those things can be mean.

Any animal can. They're animals. Hell, we're animals and we can be really cruel.

We're the worst, honestly. Animals act on instinct entirely. We do bad things because we find it enjoyable.

Or because we don't view them as bad things.

True. But some people torment other living things because they find it enjoyable.

I'm trying to convince my husband to watch the first Indiana Jones movie.

Animals do that too. They hate just like people do, and they can be sadistic just like people are. I have seen a documentary about a pride of lions that focused upon their rivalry with the local hyenas. Near the end the dominant male lion got ahold of the dominant female hyena (the females are the ones who run the pack in hyena-ville). The lion broke the hyena's back with one bite. But he didn't finish her off. Nor did he eat her like a prey animal. He just left her to die slowly, in front of all the other hyenas. It was not a simple act of a predator making a meal, it was war, just like the kind we humans fight.

Likewise, I have literally seen killer whales 'playing' with a seal before eating it. They batted it around for a while, specifically going out of their way not to kill it, even though one bite would have cut the poor seal in half. Even after the pummeling finally killed the seal, they still smacked the corpse around, like they were playing soccer with it (Football for you Europeans).

So animals can be just as sick and twisted as humans. They don't kill just because they have to. Some of the do it because they like it.
