This year's Christmas bakery selections from me:
Bread: Cranberry Walnut celebration loaf. It's an enriched sweetened bread filled with a generous portion of cranberries and walnuts, shaped in the traditional double-decker 3-braid loaf (which you see quite a lot if you are Jewish and you serve Challah for Hannukah). Dessert is homemade apple pie, my own secret formula, which I am told is quite tasty.  The roast this year will be ham, as well as my signature mashed potatoes, butternut squash puree in place of yams, and our guests will be bringing a salad and green beans. -------------------- Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning? |

I'm drinking something of my own invention, although I'm sure thousands of people drank it before I did. It is a mixture of hot chocolate, ice, and peppermint schnapps. Tastes like a peppermint patty. It is delicious.
