First day of the year and I´ve already hit a guy with my right sideview mirror! In my defense he was walking in the street

So far all I've managedd to do this year is have breakfast

I don´t lazy about!

We have that culture here where pedestrians have all the rights and drivers are their slaves. They can walk right out into the street and if they get hit by a car they get mad, saying it´s the driver´s fault

We don't quite have that culture yet, at this point we just have too many lawyers.

Same end result though *shrugs*

I apologized to the guy but I was ready to yell my throat off for him walking in the street if he´d been a jerk to me. People just don´t have common sense anymore.

Heh, people haven't had it for years. These days it's so rare I'm starting to wonder if it was named ironically.

Though when it comes to lack of common sense, cyclists beat everyone over here. Watching them ride through traffic lights whether they're red or green with no regard for traffic, it would be comical if it weren't for the likelihood of an accident.

2014 appears to have started with me contracting the plague. What fun.

My brother who´s a bus driver tells me he almost believe for real that people are suicidal. They ride their bikes alongside the bus and when they´ve reached the front they immediately take a left right in front of it!

Remember we drive on the right side here, which is to say the right side

I'm not dead yet!

It's always amazing to see people on the road acting without any thought of others around them. The number of times I've almost been hit by cars turning suddenly without indicating, or even slowing in some cases. I think it's a combo of a lack of situational awareness and too much unenlightened self-interest.




So... I should cancel the coffin I've ordered?

The cross is for warning others not to enter a plague-infested home

I always use indicators before turning and I speed down in advance. That´s how I learnt to drive and I think it makes sense so that´s how I drive. Can´t help nudging people with my mirrors though if they walk in the street

So many people came in with hangovers and not-quite-hangovers XD

Only two of us were sensible. Myself and an older coworker .

It´s always fun to be the only sober one and watch the others with their hangovers

I hope you're making sure to speak very loudly to them
