I'm not TOO good with women, so I wouldn't rely completely on what I say lol.

How do I put this...start small. Ask her if she wants to see a move or something. Don't jus throw it out that you like her if you don't know her too well. Are you friends with her? If you are, I'd say you should gently tell her that you like her as more than just a friend so you don't scare her away. Maybe ask her to a movie or lunch or something

I wouldn't just randomly throw it in there in the middle of a conversation about a completely different subject. Tell her you need to talk to her about something, and then say you like her as more than just a friend, and are hoping you can be more than just friends with her. I guess you could throw it in you've been a bit nervous to say something, and hope she considers your offer.
