Particularly when it comes to Milla Jovovitch.

I think you are thinking of Chris Tucker, who made a career out of being annoying... Though come to think of it, Dennis Rodman did as well! Still working my way through Magnum PI. I am into the 8th and final season now. The episodes have been kind of spotty. Sometimes you get a really good one, then one I have to make myself sit through. The end of the 7th season had a big episode which did not do much for me because it was about Michelle. I never liked what they did with her, because it all feels so incredibly forced. But at least it looks like they may have closed that chapter to Magnum's life for good. The opener to season 8 was better, and the episodes that have followed. The ones near the end of 7 and the start of 8 tended to be very serious. They finally got more back to normal with one where Higgins is wearing Hawaiian T-Shirts, peeling out of the estate in the Ferarri, and partying all night. In the meantime Magnum is going to the orchestra in a suit and tie. It a delightful role-reversals, and by the end we were back to the same show we knew and loved from the first few seasons. So far the episodes after have been good. There was another funny one, and today a serious one again as Lt. Tanaka died. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Jan 29 2014, 01:03 AM

Not that I am saying he is not annoying. Just that I liked him! QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Jan 29 2014, 04:25 PM) A Fistful of Dollars.
Awesome, simply awesome
A few years ago I bought the Man With No Name trilogy on blu-ray. One of my best movie investments ever. One of the interesting things about the films was that Eastwood's character was never meant to be the same man through all of them. But by the end of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Sergio Leone gave up on that, and we see Eastwood picking the poncho that he wore in Fistful of Dollars. QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Jan 29 2014, 04:48 PM) My husband and I saw the first two episodes of Game of Thrones. Neither of us are too impressed, but will keep watching.
I only watched the first two episodes too, then gave up on it. For lots of reasons, but basically it boiled down to what you said. I was not too impressed. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Jan 30 2014, 03:24 AM

Watching Predators. An alright movie, could've been much, much better. I am using the concepts of it as inspiration for my current fanfiction, though. I always was a fan of the series. Not AVP.

And yet I am, and live—like vapours tossed. I long for scenes where man hath never trod A place where woman never smiled or wept There to abide with my Creator, God, And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept, Untroubling and untroubled where I lie The grass below—above the vaulted sky.”
