QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 2 2014, 09:23 PM) QUOTE(Vital @ Feb 2 2014, 11:19 AM) I love the LOTR one So short, just like the movies could have been if they had used the resources they had all along! Wouldn't have been such good books/movies, but I would have saved countless lives in middle earth. Imagine it! They would've avoided all the pillaging and battles. No siege of Minas Tirith, no battle of the Hornburg etc etc etc.... The fellowship were pretty reckless really...

QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 2 2014, 10:17 AM) Now watching several How it should have ended videos. They do make solid points... Superman:You killed him? Iron Man:Yeah, don't want him escaping from jail and coming after me. Batman(awkwardly):That never happens hehe...

I've always kind of thought the idea behind the journey in LOTR was kind of that the only reason that the Nazgul and their mounts didn't find them.
The war kept Sauron at least partially occupied and reports of hobbit sightings at battles and such kept the wraiths at the major battles looking for hobbits rather than scouring the countryside.

I thought the whole thing was that Sauron just wasn't thinking in terms of "what if they want to destroy the ring?" Combine that with the Nazgul losing the trail after losing their horses, Saruman likely running interference while he made a play for the ring, and of course Merry and Pippin were only brought along so that Gandalf and Aragorn could turn up with a Hobbit escort, and it all makes sense. I've been watching Hang 'Em High. Great film, but all these westerns has me toying with the idea of checking out Red Dead Redemption...

I would too if it was on PC and S-free. But on topic, I havenīt seen anything than sitcoms...

They still do re-runs here... Same here, I think. Then again the same channel ran the whole series and carried on re-reuns for like a decade or something, so who knows. I honestly am too lazy to check at the moment... I'm a little bored so I'm roleplaying Kobby I'm bored... And hungry...
