Met a former work buddy and we had coffee and talked about work and such. Best part was he was buying the coffee..! @Rohirrim - Whoa, you´ve got the Action Set! That´s awesome!! Could get it too if I wanted though I already got the grey and orange versions of the Zapper. Having the box it all came in would be sweet though! It's not mine, silly. I found it on /r/gamescollecting.That would be that frog again, wouldn't it

speaking of 8-bit dreams, I've been experimenting with the nature of my own human mind. Since I've discovered more about binaural beats(or tones), I've been trying to hypnotize myself and write new things in my subconscious with the mixture of subliminal messages. Also, I can say that it really helps me sleep. Every time I use a certain beat I have dreams. Placebo or not, its having a desired effect. I've heard different things about it, negative and positive, but I might try some lucid dreaming tonight using Gamma Waves.
##Gamma waves, > 40 Hz, Higher mental cognition, including perception, problem solving, fear and consciousness
##Beta waves, 13-39 Hz, Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal.
##Alpha waves, 7-13 Hz, Relaxation (while awake), pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness.
##Theta waves, 4-7 Hz, Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep.
##Delta waves, < 4 Hz, Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness.

And yet I am, and live—like vapours tossed. I long for scenes where man hath never trod A place where woman never smiled or wept There to abide with my Creator, God, And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept, Untroubling and untroubled where I lie The grass below—above the vaulted sky.â€

Careful though, sometimes there are not so pleasant effects. I was going to try this one . . . up until I read the comments and how many people reported disturbing, creepy-ass nightmares. I've had sleep paralysis on more than one occasion. It sucks. Big time. It feels like your body is asleep but your mind is completely conscious and aware. You have no control over your body but you're still seeing your surroundings sometimes. At times . . . you may feel you're not alone, though it may vary. I don't want to trigger that. Or maybe I will to try and master it! Science is fun now. This post has been edited by Darkness Eternal: Feb 25 2014, 02:11 AM

Interesting, particularly that last one. That one pretty much describes my sleep for the last 7 or 8 years. QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 25 2014, 09:43 AM) My hand is so scratched thanks to our cat Heh, back when I had cats they never scratched me. Guess you're just paying the price for your Raven avatar
