Aha just over a year old, time to dust off this thread.
 My current desktop is courtesy of SOHO! I grabbed like 150 pictures of the sun and put them into a folder, and set Windows to change my background every 10 seconds to simulate it rotating in the center of my screen. -------------------- |

It's Windows 8, but I've got a couple of extra bits running, Rocketdock and Rainmeter, courtesy of a similar thread of the Bethesda forums. Saw them and thought they looked cool and sounded useful, so I installed them.

You can't see it in the pic, because I've got the taskbar hidden, but I've also got a program installed that brings back the start menu and skips the Metro interface.
