Okaaaaay...

So, I went to a get together with some coworkers. After we left the restaurant, we headed to my friends house. Someone called in a noise complaint and two cops showed up in the backyard where we were. My friend has two pit bulls, one was outside and one inside. He let the one outside inside and the one inside ran outside, and one of the officers shot her.

Luckily it traveled under her skin, and she wasn't injured seriously. But what the [censored]. She literally ran out and wasn't even running towards the cops.

They just shot at the dog even if it wasnt attacking?? blink.gif

If I ever shot a dog Id lose my guns and go to jail. Even if the dog had already killed a kid and chewed halfway through my leg.

Really? That seems a little excessive. Then again, here in the UK there've been far too many stories of kids being killed by dogs, so maybe that's why it seems so.
