QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 8 2014, 09:26 PM) Itīs when you put a thin cloth around a credit card, put some solvent on it and go nuts between the pins in the connector. This removes dust that can cause me to try a second time to get a game to work. Canīt have second tries, can we? And here I thought that simply blowing into old Nintendo consoles and games was sufficient QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Mar 8 2014, 09:28 PM) Hi! Hey Kobby.

Well, I didnīt explain too good there If you blow into the cartridge youīre getting saliva into the game and thatīs not a good thing as it can cause corrosion on the contact points. It might help to establish a better connection at times but that might as well be because youīre removing the game and inserting it again and position it slightly different than the first time. Also, when removing the cart, the dust causing the game to not connect might loosen, giving the false impression that blowing into it is a good method. That said, I still can find myself doing it to Gameboy games. Old habit really do die hard, donīt they..?

Well you do it as a kid and it works, for whatever reason, and from then on you're stuck with it
