Turdas, 10:44 PM 21st of Second Seed"Huh? .. I was sure I heard something." The bandit cautions herself as she puts her tankard of mead on a nearby table. It's been days since she's had a break. Stand guard. Sleep. Stand guard. Eat. Stand guard. The routine has dragged on for almost a year now, yet she never tires, never gives up her cause. Yes, she's not exactly on the front lines where she'd prefer to be, instead (as an archer) she's often posted up here, two stories above the road itself. But she's a part of 'the cause', and knows that someday she, and others like her, MANY others like her, will rise against the Nords of Markath, and take back what is rightfully theirs. "Must be my imagination". She stares across the brilliant Skyrim landscape, gazing upon snow-capped mountains. She begins to fidget with her deerskined jerkin, while a dark figure creeps from behind. o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 Day 277 Mycharonna the Ice Witch has just left Broken Tower Redoubt full of dead Forsworn bandits. She was no match for the boss of this place, a wizard who could have killed her with three blows of his shock-magic. Even a powerful vampiress such as she must sometimes give up a fight. The little story above tells the tale of a not-so-fortunate Forsworn. Mycharonna has decided to roam the area around Markath for awhile, postponing her trip to Solitude. The bride known as Vittoria Vici isn't to be married until the 30th of Second Seed*. The Ice Witch has time to explore and terrorize. * (I am RPing this part since the game doesn't give an actual limit). This post has been edited by Renee Gade IV: Mar 9 2014, 03:20 AM

HELGEN #1 "What's your name, Elf?" The shouts of soldiers and the clatter of weapons echoed around the windblown courtyard. Someone's discarded linen shawl blew between the legs of the small group of guardsmen standing lazily to attention beside an old and scarred desk set up in the middle of the wide space.
Behind this desk, holding a quill pen poised over a ragged sheet of parchment, sat a hard-eyed and angular woman of maybe 50 summers, bedecked in the regalia of a captain of the guard. She sighed, and waved the quill at a soldier standing behind the prisoner.
With a grunt of acknowledgement the soldier lifted his spear and slammed the butt end of it into the small of the captive's back. She fell to her knees on the hard dusty ground, sucking a pained breath in through between dirty, clenched teeth. "Your name." Demanded the captain once again.
After a moment longer, the prisoner looked up at the captain behind her desk; regarded her with large, nearly black eyes set in a gaunt face framed by lank, straw-coloured hair from which protruded the pointed tips of distinctive Elven ears.
The Elf opened her mouth and said in a low, cracked voice; "Eilidh."

A really cool story, Ms. Gade, especially the fact that you only mention Mycharonna creeping from behind but leave the ending out. Another thing I like is that you set a fixed date for the wedding. Although I haven't gamed Skyrim for a long, long time, I really enjoy reading Mycharonna's stories.

Well, I've gone and started again...*Sigh*... ... The chap's based on a character in the Assassin's Creed Multiplayer thing that I properly loved the style of...Called The Wayfarer... Anyways, I've made him look as much like him as I can...And, as the AC version uses a war-club thing, I shall be using maces as far as possible... Hells that's all a bit boring... Anyways...So far, I followed Hadvar for the first time...And loved it...Awesome character...And basically, Wayfarer's been clearing out Embershard mine, and doing a couple of Bounty missions...Much awesomeness... Nothing subtle - Shoulder down-CHAAAAARGE!!!-Smashy-Ouch-Killyness...Y'know...What I normally do... ... Much fun...It's a shocker how much fun it is actually...I thought I'd done far too much for it to be fun again...*Shrug*...

Wayfarer is currently sitting on one of the benches beneath the mighty tree in Whiterun, considering his options... ------- I can't decide...I really can't...I'm thinking it's going to be the Companions and all that...But I'm not sure whether to bother or not...It may be too soon for me really...I just got excited watching McGirl play her latest Assassin and decided I had to play it meself... ... Though just listening to the Oblivion soundtrack has really made me miss Cyrodiil...So maybe I'll be headed there instead... ...

Companions is pretty fun, I can't wait to do it again, this time on PC. Sundas, 9:38 PM, 24th of Second Seed, 4E 202 Days Passed: 280 "Prepare to die!" shouts the Mercenary as he readies his sword. A dark figure had just appeared in the middle of the road before him, and he can already taste the gold that's been offered, assuming this dark figure is the one whom he now hunts. This mercenary battlemage had been hired just hours before by a local he had met in Dragon's Bridge. The local was a fisherman who informed this village that he had found evidence of the vampire's trail at Robber's Gorge: not only had all the bandits of this campsite been found dead, but some of their flesh had also been torn to shreds in a way in which no animal would do. Wolves, cats, and skeevers always ate the flesh they tore away, they never left it scattered about the landscape. Unlike other vampires who merely stayed in their lairs *, it was rumored that this one traveled from place to place. This one had left her mark in dozens of other locations all over Skyrim: the village of Karwathstan had been rumored to have also been slain by her. If the fisherman had managed to find the location of the hated vampire, the mercenary would now have 100 extra gold in his pocket if he could take her down. But it was not to be. His mistake was trying to hunt for her after nightfall. Minutes after encountering the dark figure he had thrown his last fireball, while she countered with an ice storm two men tall and two men wide. There was no escape. "Arrgh!" Paralyzed by her cold, he fell to the ground and struggled. The last thing on his mind before the dark figure finished him off was 100 gold in Dragon's Bridge, and a bottle of nord's mead in his hand. * = with Dawngaurd disabled, there are no travelling vamps except Mycharonna. Mycharonna the Ice Witch is still headed towards Solitude, she doesn't have to actually be there for another 6 days, so she's taking some time to explore & terrorize. Aww shucks. Instead of exploring, she wound up staying in Dragon's Bridge in one day, and got to Solitude the next. There she rented a room, but found a deserted area in the cellar of the Winking Skeever to hide in. With 4 days left to go until the wedding of Vittoria Vici is to commence, Mycharonna's been exploring this town (which she's never been in. I didn't know this until she entered town, and Solitude's scripted 'greeting' started up). She's been wowing over the clothier's shop, where she found a Mourner's Outfit she looks great in. She bought several other pieces of clothing here, too. All of these other outfits can now be found in the Winking Skeever's basement. She's fed on two citizens of Solitude: a young, hardy blacksmith, and the snobby lady who runs the clothing store. After feeding on the blacksmith (and he drew his blade in defense), Mycharonna did her usual hypnotism trick, and he merely went back to sleep. The snobby lady was a little more challenging. She was about to call for the guards, even after the ice witch hypnotized her she could feel the chill of evil. She would not just go calmly back to sleep. Mycharonna managed to flee the clothing shop with the speed of an ice wraith. This post has been edited by Renee Gade IV: Mar 17 2014, 01:17 AM

Lol, I read "a young, hairy blacksmith" at first. Nice story, hope we see some pics of her new attire.

As mentioned, Eilidh is in Fort Greymoor. The bandits in there are well off relatively speaking, and numerous. It'll be handy to get some coin from them before heading north. She intends to head to the coast and then turn west to Solitude.
She has a long way to go before she gets the cash she needs, but she's got proper mates in Solitude so she may be able to get something off them. One of them does owe her a favour after all, for a little job she did to help him out a couple of months or so ago...
On another note, I shall be censoring some of my future posts for here, as Eilidh can be a bit "fruity", shall we say. Full coverage will be on the blog, once its sorted...

QUOTE(Vital @ Mar 30 2014, 08:01 AM) * bit of rp here - why doesn't the cornerclub sell dunmer drinks? ** apparently you can join the stormcloaks and then after the first mission switch he sides somehow. I made the rp decision that Attia actually escaped Helgen with the stormcloaks and they will readily accept her..
* because the Dunmer drinks are so horrible that even they cannot stand them? ** You can join either side to start. Then during the quest in Korvunjund to retrieve the Dragon Jagged Crown you can switch to the other side, simply by taking them the Crown instead. Whoever you take the Crown to becomes your side permanently from then on. I believe it is the second quest in the Civil War questline, maybe the third at most.
