Point 2 will be argued by others... ... On point 1 though...Well, actually, it's hard to argue that one... ...Yeah, but that's not the point...There's a hell of a lot more to the game than it looks, and I actually enjoy working out the tactics involved and all that...It really is more fun and in depth than it looks at face value...*Shrug*... I like it...Aaaaaand so do a fair few millions of others about the place... ...*Shrug*...

You did? Awesome!! Where did you get a hold on a Famicom? They had this awesome expo called GameExpo me and my dad went to. Lots of old game consoles and some new ones, the NES was broken though Got to play original Donkey Kong on the arcade machine and Galaga and Virtu Fighter though!

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 30 2014, 09:26 PM) SWEET!! Did you buy anything? You couldn't. It was just a showroom full of games. Including pong being projected on a massive wall, an Oddessy but you couldn't play that it was in a case and one of the original Pong machines but that was out of order. But yeah it was sweet.

Playing the first Mass Effect through again. Going to replay the whole thing to brush up on some of the choices I made in the first game. I'd forgotten how good it was. The only thing is that since the second and third games were completely redesigned, I'm having trouble adapting to the older style.

I keep meaning to dig out Mass Effect, but since I wasn't a huge fan of the 2nd, apart from the final mission on the CB, and didn't buy the third, it's kind of hard to get into it. It's a great game, but I'll never have an ending to the story Still a better ending than they came up with

QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Apr 3 2014, 07:36 PM) I think I'll fire up Xcom: Enemy Within tonight.
A little sci-fi turn-based-strategy action seems like fun...
Played my dad's copy. It's lovely when an alien is right infront of you and you miss him while his friend about 5 miles away shots you through a wall KILLING YOUR MARINE INSTANTLY.

I bump up the difficulty and play it in ironman mode. Things like that are truly painful. But then you get it where it turns around and suddenly everyone in the squad is blasting aliens like they're the heroes from an action film. Fantastic game.
