QUOTE(mirocu @ May 14 2014, 09:43 PM) QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ May 14 2014, 10:30 PM) I prefer consoles to PC for gaming. If you ask me they're better.
Sure, they're more limited than a PC, but if I go into Game tomorrow, and pick up a new game for my 360, I know I can fire it up and it'll play, no fuss, no muss. And that would be true if I was still using the first 360 I had, from seven years ago. I kinda doubt a PC for the same price as a 360 at launch would be playing brand new games after that length of time.
*cough*NESworkingperfectlyevenafter25years*cough* Sorry, dry throat it seems.. Doesn't play brand new games though, does it Edit: Later McB! This post has been edited by Callidus Thorn: May 14 2014, 09:47 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ May 14 2014, 09:49 PM) Starts up FIRST TRY every time and no flashing light which I hear can also happen to the 360.. You mean the Red Ring of Death? That's only really a problem for the original models of the 360, they fixed that problem. And reliability isn't the point I was making about Console vs PC

Oh, our original Playstation 3 died of that yellow ring of death thing... Sadly, it died just after McDaughter had finished finally killing a Boss on some game, I forget which, but she'd been trying for ages...and she was convinced that she'd done it by trying too hard... ...Bless her...Well, she was a lot younger then... ... Sadly, no silliness this morning...Sillyness only works with awake time...I'm not properly awake...Though you either are or you aren't...As I keep saying...But right now, my brain feels asleep!...Go figure!... *Points*... Guitarrr solooooooo!!!...*Moshes*... This post has been edited by McBadgere: May 15 2014, 04:54 AM

Free food and a country drive, yay! Maybe the christening will turn out to be unexpectedly exciting. It’s one of those perfect spring days in Grits world. With two family members upstairs spewing cold germs and the byproducts of sinus infections. I’m considering leaving them to their own devices! OK, I’m actually about to make a tea and chicken soup delivery to the sickrooms. But after that they’re on their own!! For at least thirty minutes until I check on them and collect the dishes. Sigh. I’m not very good at neglecting. This post has been edited by Grits: May 15 2014, 01:45 PM

Well, as I've already got confused as to which branch of the family is having said christening, then it's all pretty much a journey into the unknown from the start... ... Mirocu!!!... On yer bike!!!... ONLY JOKING!!!!... Y'alright Gents?...

*Re tconning... Repconn is that place in Fallout New Vegas... I am so not getting into the canon argument... I agree that all there should be in Star Wars is in the films... I also disagree vehemently...Good word use there... I can not do the slightest thing about it...I have more important things to worry about... ...
