Aaaaaaaand you've gone again...
...Well, the forecast for today...At both Thorny-Boy's location and mine is...BLOODY HOT!!!!...Even hotter than yesterday...Plus...The added joy of expected huge thunderstorms late afternoon and into the evening!!!... YAY!!!... On the plus side, we're now all silage-machine-ready...So as soon as the weather is up to it, we'll start and get it the *heck out of the way...  ...I don't enjoy it...It's tiring...But once it's done, all I have to worry about for about six weeks is the nettle pollen...Even these strong antihistamines I take can't handle my allergy to that...  ...Ah, I say it every year...But the massive irony of a farmer with chronic hayfever...You can't get a much better example really... |

We had a bloody awesome thunderstorm last night...We haven't had one like that for years!!...It went on for hours...
 ...The most awesome thing was that I was watching it come over the mountains as I was walking home...I could hear the rumbles going on, thinking, "Uh-oh."...So then I gets in through the door and then the rain starts hitting the patio and I'm like, "Dude..."*Nods*...'Cause I do that... ...Anyways, literally ten seconds later and the most incredible hailstorm hits...Proper wall of the stuff, hammering down... ...Had I been any later, I'd have been soaked...Yes, I was carrying my waterproofs 'cause the forecast had warned of showers...But there'd be no time to put them on!...Awesome!!... Ah, the Brit obsession with the weather!!... ... |
