I remember you and I talking about DII bowazons before. They were the original inspiration for Buffy the mystic archer. I simply called her Bowgirl back then. Over the years, she’s lost the BigBoobs and RoundEars, but has kept her blond hair and penchant for using magic to enhance her bow and her complete abstinence from melee weaponry. I continue to be impressed with NWN2. I think part of it is that the characters seem big enough to appreciate; they were always so tiny on the screen in BG. Sephiroth looks perfect for what I would imagine a drow to be like – very nice job with her. I see she is a 2H user – and pretty good at it! I love the armor she’s wearing. It looks like nice mail with a beautiful surcoat/tabard.

It’s been neat to see the NWN pics. I love the dino looking guy. Wow, that silver plate really is too dark. It also looks a bit thick in the legs compared to the Eisen Platte. In the middle of the night (seriously) I remembered another light plate armor that Valdi is wearing now from this mod, but I still think Persephone’s Eisen Platte suits her much better. It has just the right level of detail I think. Yay for Darryl! It’s great to see him again. I think I know where they are. That’s where the naughty foks go to pick up an early set of steel plate. Yep, and it looks fabulous in your game! Nice to see the young lady wearing it is still on her feet. I love Persephone’s new hairstyle. Spending a little time on her hair is a sure sign of new un-life. I just love this picture! Persephone looks tough and gorgeous in a slightly otherworldly way. Sun never sets is lovely. What a beautiful pose. Magic dual is one of those perfect shots. There’s a lot going on, all of it stunning. (Ha ha, accidental shock joke. ) Oh neat, the friendly skeleton! I love the colors in Kyne’s child. Frost colored everything! It’s great to see Persephone’s undead life continuing!

Acadian: Even though I did not find anything that can top the Eisen Platte armor that Persephone is currently wearing, it was not a fruitless endeavor. I did find some neat outfits. That new college robe mod tempts me to fire up Aela again. Or perhaps a new College Mage. The Silver Knight, and some of the other armors, make me want to roll a new toon to wear them as well! No monogamous gamer here! I am a total skank. But when it comes to Pesephone: "I can't quit you!" (Now I am trying to remember what movie that was from. Maybe it was Brokeback Mountain?) I felt the same way about the Eldergleam Sanctuary quest. Though I did not like having to use Nettlebane to push its roots out of the way. Likewise, I never did Kyne's Sacred Rituals (or whatever the name of that other quest is). Like you, killing animals is not my idea of honoring a deity of animals. Granted, it was not killing real flesh and blood animals, but the spirits of animals. But it seems about the same to me. As you said, it sounds more like a Hircine quest. I don't think it is because of any implied difference between Kynareth and Kyne. Just another example of Bethesda's poor writing. If they ever wrote a Christ's Sacred Rites quest, I wonder if it would have you going around killing the ghosts of the Apostles to prove what a good Christian you are? Grits: I love that mod Valdi is wearing. It reminds me a lot of the Berserk Sonia armor I linked to on the other topic. That one immediately made me think of Valdi. Maybe I could play Valdi someday, so I could wear either set of armor? That was Ironbind Barrow. It took me a moment to realize what you meant about getting a suit of Steel Plate armor. Until I looked at the Redguard girl. That would be naughty! She is such a nice girl. Albeit a bit naive. The sun never sets was one of those occasions where the picture jumped out out of the screen and grabbed me. Persephone had just finished Ironbind Barrow, and found a stairway at the back that leads to the top of the mountain next door. She stepped outside in the soft glow of the setting sun, and I knew there was picture there that needed to be taken. I actually went through half a dozen shots before I settled upon that one of her with the spell lighting her face. It was fun finding that friendly skeleton. I never know if he is going to up and walking around, or laying on his bier and 'sleeping'. This is the third time Persephone has been that way, and only the second time he has been 'up'. I downloaded Apachii Sky Wigs this afternoon, and have been trying out some new hairstyles. I like the Wig approach because I do not have to edit all of the hairstyles into my Deadwalker mod. Adding hairs is a long, tedious process. I have three styles I like mostThe one on the left has a short ponytail that hangs low in the back, and is probably my leading contender. I really like the one in the middle. But it feels a bit too Nordic for Persephone. That is probably how Hrafngoelir wore her hair when she was younger. The one on the right is probably my favorite. But it clips through Persephone's armor in the front and back. Plus a few humorous pics: What if Persephone was named Felicity?Cloud Strife meets PersephoneBack to Persephone's adventures Meet Darryl's other brother, DarrylPuttering around in the gardenPersephone is still not sure what to do with this bed thingWatching China Beach has also made me realize that the perfect actress to play Persephone would be Dana Delany, from that era. Just change her hair to white and give her deathly pale skin, and Dana is good to go. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Aug 28 2014, 03:33 AM

QUOTE(haute ecole rider @ Aug 28 2014, 12:15 AM) I am totally looking at Apachi's Sky Wigs mod myself. I loved it in Oblivion, as did both Julian and Tallei.
Alise likes the braided styles, but won't go to the face sculptor in Riften to change her appearance. So we're talking about wigs. Do you have to use Race Menu to use this mod? I'm a bit confused and haven't yet gone there (or ECC, for that matter).
I think you have to use "showracemenu" in the console, as they're wigs as hair, rather than wigs as helmets, so you can't just put one on from inventory. Race Menu - the mod - enhances that process, but isn't required. The face sculptor just appears to be an in-game entry into the showracemenu dialog, so I'd assume she'd also have the wigs in stock. I used her once, just because she was there.

I used her once, just because she was there. The mod maker talks about using showracemenu in the description, and about not having to use it in the description. That confused me too. But I found that you do not need to use showracemenu at all. I have been using them like any other wig mod. Just add it to your inventory and equip it, and that is all. It is gigantic though. Over 2gig. I had to break it up into two halves to make .omods from the loose files.

Another option is The Hairstyler, which is what I use now. You use a spell to change the character’s hair and another to change NPC hair. Casting the spell and then exiting the menu without choosing a style reverts to the original hair. I can post some screenshots if that would make more sense. You don’t actually change the hair, you’re given an unequippable inventory item that is worn like a wig until you change it back or to something else. There are some white hair styles. I checked. I love Persephone is all of those hairstyles. Perhaps the ponytail for business and loose for relaxing? Some of the hairstyles are pretty funny. Though I have to confess that the curly one is pretty close to Grits’s hair! (And I find more white hairs every day!) Oh my gosh, Daryl’s other brother Darryl is awesome. He was still ghostly when I checked him out in the Zanimal’s game. Good grief, if Darnand meets this guy he will definitely want to turn into a lich! What a pretty garden picture. I love that house. Aww, Persephone sitting on the bed. That tugs at the heart! I’ll have to put Valdi’s settings in the Character Swap thread to coax you to play her.

There are also a few hoods with hair. I think I saw Buffy wearing one from Ashara Princess of the Woods, but that's one item among whole outfits for both sexes. I don't remember seeing any "collection of hoods" mods.

btw, if you are still getting the ghostly version of the Dragon Priest, it means you are using the old spell. It was actually a vanilla spell I added a Spell Tome for. I created a new spell for the fleshy Dragon Priest in the latest version of Undead Summoning, and changed the tome to teach you that now. You can get rid of the vanilla spell with this console command: CODE player.removespell 10FC16 If you cannot remember the ID, you can find it through the console. Just type in CODE help "conjure dragon priest" 4 You will find spells and books for the old and new ones. You can tell which is which because the vanilla versions ID's will start with a bunch of 0's. My mod's version will have a two number/letter prefix. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Aug 28 2014, 08:47 PM

I agree with you on the hairstyles in that, for some characters, the SkyHair is too grungy; yet some of the mod hairstyles are too CosmoPerfect. The CosmoHair worked okay in OB but does seem out of place in Skyrim. Of your three styles (btw, the whitish color is purrfect for Purrsephone!) the long style seems a bit too perfect/cosmo for Skyrim and I would be concerned about clipping as well. I think a braid is both too Nordic and too girlie for P-phone. That leaves the first style which, happily, looks very good, appropriate and a real fine choice for her! Hee! My thoughts of the Felicity shot were of a white-haired Grits as well! Wow, Darryl’s other brother is one scary dead dude! Puttering in the garden! Growing deathbell and nightshade, no doubt. Perhaps some more comfy gardening clothes might be in order? Aravi might have a spare furkini? Dead girls don’t sleep I guess, so what else would a dead girl do in bed? Do dead girls. . . well, you know? Maybe Darryl, Falanu (or her sister Necrophilia) would have some ideas? Or maybe Serana?

Grits: I did settle on the ponytail on the left for adventuring and the loose hair on the far left for relaxing. Though I just found the latter clips even worse on college robes! I remembered that curly one was Grits hair, and Valdi hair! It always makes me think of Keri Russel first, and how her tv show tanked because she cut her hair. See a couple posts back about getting rid of the ghostly conjured dragon priest. I take no responsibility for people turning into Liches! I never even use the store room wing, and since Persephone doesn't have any followers or steward, she doesn't need the children's wing either. They could live with her in the main hall. But the wrap around deck on the outside they all make is really neat. You can follow it the around the house for sunrise and sunset. It would be nice to try playing Valdi. She was always one of my favorite characters of yours. It took me ages to even find the old Character Swap thread. It's in the Fan Art section. I guess I would have to install one of those RaceMenu mods with numerical values, to get Valdi's settings right. Acadian: Now we know what Grits will look like when she comes back from the grave to become an undead champion of light! Even Persephone thinks Darryl's other brother Darryl is a little creepy. I think she is going to stick with Darryl instead. No nightshade or deathbells in Persephone's house! She only grows child-friendly plants like mountain flowers, wheat, and lavender. I cannot say that Persephone has ever met someone that sparked any romantic feelings in her. Just remembering how to feel at all is an effort. But she is getting there! QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 29 2014, 10:43 AM) I'm always amazed that the thieves keep using that mage hood even when they're at the glass armour stage. And someone needs to tell her that the armpit is poorly armoured, so no matter how confident she is in her anti-perspirant, it's not a good idea to raise her arm like that.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 29 2014, 01:10 PM) Looks like she’s going to be enrolling in the College then? I love it when you overhear a bandit mumbling to himself that he should have listened when his dad said he should go to college; then laments about how was he to know which college his dad was talking about? There is, after all, such a long list of one college in Skyrim. Actually dear Paladin, there are two colleges in Skyrim -- the Mages in Winterhold and the Bards in Solitude. Though I suspect P9 does not consider that one to be a good use of her particular skill set.
