These places get destroyed awful fast by you rowdy people... tongue.gif

QUOTE(minque)
This is meant to be a place where you can talk about anything without having to stay on topic. Feel free to ask questions, to talk about the things in your life you like to share with your fellow-members. Or just step inside for a while, have a coffe and a good chat!
You may feel free to post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the forum.
But if the conversation degrades to spam, you will be treated as though you are spamming anywhere else on the forum. This is a thread where you can relax and talk about personal things, but it is not to be used as an excuse to make pointless posts.
Please help to keep this alive and well and a place where we can meet and share.
Enjoy your stay here!!!

QUOTE(Alexander)
We had intended the coffee shop to be a nice place where people could talk about their daily activities and such, kinda like the Lurkers Lair on the Official Forums.
It didn't quite turn out that way though, people have been taking advantage of their freedoms in here, there has been a lot of spamming and even some flaming. We will not tolerate that any longer.
So unfortunately we've had to decide to increase the rules for this thread. Of course the normal forum rules still apply, but we'll elaborate here.:
1. No spamming.
We consider double posting and posting posts with only a few words to be spam. If you do that your post will be deleter or moved, do it too often and you might receive a warning for it.
We also consider chit-chat spam. This forum has a special chat channel for chatting, you're welcome to go there, and chat with other members or with the staff as we're always there, doing it in here is not allowed.
The address to that chatroom is:
W4O chat
And for assistence to use a chat like this, I recommend looking over this thread:
http://chorrol.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=248
Or contacting one of the Administrators.
2. No discussion of accounts or warnings.
There shall be no more discussion about members, about accounts, about how many warnings you've gotten or anything like that.
3. No trolling.
No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming.
4. No religion or politics.
No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it.
If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator.
If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator.
If you're wondering how we think a Lair or the Coffee Shop should look like, what we do allow, then I recommend taking a look at the Lurkers Lair at the Official Forums.

Oh, that will not be easy on you at all! And winter is coming soon, you won't be able to slip out on the porch to get away from the cramped quarters - Oh lizzie. Bless your heart!

I plan on taking a LOT of walks.

My husband is going to drive me nuts, too.

Oh yeah. When my husband lost his job and was home all the time I thought I was going to scream. Now the football season has started - he may never leave the couch. But at least if I know he is there, I can find somewhere else to be. Like on here.

Be careful with your abdomen, let it heal thoroughly. Yeah, my husband too. He goes out for a beer run and I get a 10 minute reprive. When he is home, he wants to "instruct me" on what household chores I should be accomplishing. I always ask him if he wants me to list all the chores he should be doing, and it ends there, lol.

He's smart then. Mine has tried to tell me how he likes to see the dishes done. I stepped aside and invited him to do them "his way" if it was that important. He scurried out of the kitchen faster than a rat leaving a sinking ship.

Mine doesn't bother to do the dishes either. He's still waiting for me to start packing them.

No no, you could pull your stomach lifting boxes, Lizzie.

BWAAAAHAAAHAAA!

Oh! So when I was choosing a company to get the Internet hooked back up, I had to get this certain one because they were giving away these enormous SEC flags of your pic! (3' X 5'3") So of course I chose them to get a flag for my husband. It came today in the mail, and he spent all day clearing off WALLS IN THE HOUSE to hang it! Not outside on our flagpole, but on a WALL! GAAAAAAAH!!!!!

Just spent the last day and a half exploring the Grand Canyon. One of the fringe benefits of living in the American southwest. Thanks to our mod/admin team for sweeping up all those pesky flower petals! wacko.gif

Liz, I'm so glad your tummy troubles were identified and seem much better now. Sorry about the housing troubs also. I got nervous when you said you cut your hair, but then I saw a pic of your new doo on the other thread - cute as a button (as ever)! tongue.gif

Yeah. Work still sucks, especially with a new boss who seems to, for no reason, dislike me and treat me like crap. Oh well.

But my hair looks good.

And it's really nice finally not being in pain. My doc thought I had Crohn's disease, but nope.

Sorry 'bout work. Have you tried tickling your boss into submission? I mean, it never worked for me, but then I don't have that cute as a button thing going like you do. happy.gif

Well, I'm not a doctor (and I don't play one on the internet biggrin.gif ), but having your appendix removed and being done with it sounds way better than my understanding of attempting to manage Chron's.

My doc was actually fearing it was worse than Crohn's. Luckily it wasn't.

I've actually tried being playful with my boss, like some of the other workers that she likes, but nope. Oh well. I'm not worried aBout it anymore.

Acadian that sounds fun! I've always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon.

This Sunday I returned from the camping trip. I got to swim in some waterfalls and rivers and celebrate my girl's birthday, which I'll do officially tomorrow again.

And yet I am, and live—like vapours tossed.
I long for scenes where man hath never trod
A place where woman never smiled or wept
There to abide with my Creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept,
Untroubling and untroubled where I lie
The grass below—above the vaulted sky.”

My immediate boss doesnt seem to be too fond of me either, or its just who she is. Ive talked to the others about how she is and they just shake their heads in recognition. Seems like your boss is targetting you specifically, isnt there someone more above you can talk to about this?
