QUOTE(Darkness Eternal @ Oct 8 2014, 10:33 PM) I'm taking a few days off. MALX I am terribly sorry to hear that. I will message you as soon as I can.
Today my baby cousin has passed away...
Aw DE, I'm so sorry! That is even harsher than my loss, a child - my deepest condolences to you and your family. And thank you all for your support and condolences - they mean a lot.

Sorry for your loss as well DE. It is always hard to lose a relative, younger ones even more so.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 13 2014, 09:10 AM) Hunting season has started with moose on the primary agenda I have as many calves as I can shoot for three days only but as per usual I suspect I wont even see anything. Still, weather was fine and temperature in the ok-zone though I had wanted it a tad more chill. Two days left! I know that story myself. You see them all the time, except during hunting season.

I hunt rarely. It's hard to find the time, especially if you actually get one and have to clean it. That's a full time job in itself.
I've taken a couple of white tails here in the states with my AK.
It may seem insane but the adrenaline rush you get when you take one is unrivaled. I'm guessing it is our primative biology at work. Humans have evolved, our techniques and weapons have changed but the feeling of pride after outsmarting your prey and earning dinner remains unchanged. There is a reward system at work inside of our brains that isn't easy to comprehend.
Humans are animals at a very basic level and that is unchangeable.

Third and final day and nothing yet again. I guessed so, but you cant know until you get out there Overcast, a slight breeze and cold. About humans having evolved, regarding our biological functions including what happens in the brain in various situations, according to experts it has remained unchanged since the stone age which is why we have so many accidents happening. We call it " the human factor", we cant keep up with the technology rush since it takes millions of years for evolution to catch up and adjust. But who cares. I didnt get to shoot anything This post has been edited by mirocu: Oct 15 2014, 10:35 AM
