The scary thing is that the bacon we get here says "naturally smoked" on the packet, implying that you can get unnaturally smoked as an alternative.

When I was a kid I thought that naturally smoked referred to manner in which the pig was killed! I wonder if unnaturally smoked would entail sitting cross-legged in a hothouse with Woody Harrelson and Snoop Dogg.

Edit: Though I guess one could argue that would be natural too.
