Happily, Annie can change from just hair to either beret or cowgirl hat on a whim! She really is a cute but dangerous character – a neat combination. Eeep! I expected to see one of the ‘S’ critters waiting in ambush in the toilet bowl. Hey, I go past that sign for Boulder City regularly. Wow, the Legion surely has expanded their empire. The girl in the plastic bubble looks safe from getting any of that post-apocalyptic goo on her. That new rifle looks very much like an M-16 with a 30 round mag. I remember you saying how she uses it. She is wise indeed to use just the single shot or sometimes three-round burst. Fully auto is silly for a shoulder weapon. Love the cowgirl hat! Is that an old U-2 at Nellis behind her? War face = down to business! Fire department – that is one big scorpion! Doctor’s order – Is Annie writing that other woman a ticket for wearing a dirty/bloody shirt? What is that tank thing on Annie’s back?

Acadian: You should try out FONV, just to see your home state in a game! If someone would set a game in Detroit, I know I would. Come to think of it, you could make a post-apocalypse game set in Detroit, without the need for an apocalypse. We are already there! Annie's new weapon is a Colt M4A1 Carbine, the latest in the M-16 'family'. I believe the US Military is now transitioning to make it the standard rifle for all services, though I could be wrong. I really like the mod that allows you to use single shot, burst, or auto with automatic weapons. I almost never go full auto. Instead semi-automatic fire is perfect for long range shooting, and burst fire for most everything else. It is only when gigantic monsters like Deathclaws and Giant Radscorpions get right in Annie's face that she goes to full auto. That plane is just sort of a generic airplane that they made for FONV. At least I think so, I don't recall seeing them in FO3. The airfield is called Clark Field in the game. I am not sure if it is called that IRL. It is the airfield just south of Searchlight. In the game it runs east to west, and is the very southern edge of the map. I looked at it in Google Earth, and in Real Life it runs north to south, and doesn't seem to have a name. It looks like its been abandoned? That bloody top is the standard Doctor's Outfit in FO3 and FONV. It seems they aren't too picky about making a mess when they work... The tank on Annie's back is her air supply. She is wearing her space suit in that pic, minus the helmet. It gives a huge bonus to radiation resistance, which comes in very handy in some areas. Those carbines have so much spread, though. I must never have ever reached the point of being high enough in the skill to overcome that spread differential - so I use scoped sniper rifles; have to or I'd never hit anything, lol. Probably where the alien craft that crashed is stored, lol. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jan 11 2015, 01:23 PM) It gives a huge bonus to radiation resistance, which comes in very handy in some areas.
I would love to have that on my trips to the outside entrance of Vault 87 - that is a MUST do every single game, just for fun. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jan 11 2015, 01:23 PM) Those Mirelurks kill me a LOT in game with those sonic weapons! How on earth did you get this close!!!! Awesome shot!!! I absolutely LOVE Caesar's Legion, it was always hard to go against them - loved the look of the armor, and now that I have the PC game I intend to make some needed enchantments on a set for myself, lol. One of the things I found most awesome in NV was that putting on the armor of the enemy would give you a chance to infiltrate their ranks - that was very cool! I love this shot, great close-up !!! Really hated that taking anything in the dam was considered stealing, what a great place to loot if not for the stigma. But whether I'm neutral or liked by that faction or not, I always take the stealth suit in that radiated storage room, lol. GAAAAAAH !!!! What the hell is that thing behind Annie? Urk !!!! The daymare - OMG, I died so many times in that quarry! One time I managed to make it to the top of one of those cranes and was doing great till I ran out of ammo and the mother came. This shot was spectacular because I know exactly the danger she is in whether that deathclaw is falling or not (because if it could reach the ledge she is on, so could the rest). I absolutely LOVE this shot, but it is not my fave, this one is: Annie feels sorry for some of the abominations she has to killWhat a tremendous facial expression you caught here! This shot is my absolute fave, what an amazing screen this is!

Thanks for all those answers – it helps since I don’t play the game. Beach bingo looks like Argonian versions of Darryl! Annie’s mask in the Stormcloaks pic looks like one of those Dunmer chiten rigs. Graveyard is a great action shot. Is it just the lighting or did Annie add some gold color to her hair? I love the one of Annie and her high ponytail studying the Hoover Dam. mALX is right – nice face study as Annie ponders her victims. Nightmare: Go forth little human and spray your foes with fire!

Night Vegas – Woot! The Stratosphere! Gosh, that’s a familiar skyline. I chuckled to see Annie in the Orerry. Then some shootin’ and drinkin’. Uh oh, the plants kill? After seeing those radscorpion things before, I saw 'ants kill' when I first looked at the sign. Wow, a flame thrower! Must say, I do like her rasberet better than the yellow hat stolen from one of the Village People.

Graveyard is just the lighting making Annie's hair brighter. That was taken in the early morning, and the rising sun is shining directly upon her.
That was an amazing shot, you could not have created a more perfect lighting than that if you tried. Her hair is outstanding. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jan 16 2015, 11:56 AM) Night Vegas is awesome, one of those quiet moments in the wasteland that really enhance the feeling of post-apocalyptia - really endeared me to the Wasteland in Fallout 3 how quiet and peaceful it became at night. That Repcon site was really well done, I missed it this last play through on the 360. had Veronica in tow and so headed straight up to Vegas instead of touring and sight-seeing, lol. Absolutely LOVE the "In action with the NCR" shot, has to be my favorite !!! The guy pointing to where she is supposed to be shooting, and her concentrating on aiming - fantastic shot !!! Moose: Looks like Annie has had more than one Moose, lol. Rainforest - I hate that vault, even hate trying to get to it through all those cazadors - how in the world did she get up there in such good shape? I died a hundred times trying to reach it, darn Veronica needing to go there! These are all awesome shots! I am loving your tour of the Mohave Wasteland !!! Brings back a lot of great memories of the tons of fun that game is !!!

Acadian: Home sweet home right? Except for maybe the super-mutants and giant radscorpions... I like Annie's construction hat. It makes me tempted to roll a toon who would wear that hat, some coveralls, and use a sledgehammer. I think there might be a nail gun somewhere too. They would be The Constructor! Dum dum dum! Grits: All they need is a fireman's coat and you would have the trifecta with the axe and helmet. Though the space suit makes a good stand in. mALX: The Repconn headquarters was really easy. Annie's Science and Intelligence are up high enough that she was able to hack all the robots to give herself access to everything. She was able to loot the entire place without firing a shot. I think that rainforest vault was the creepiest place in FONV. It isn't really very dangerous. But it gave me a real sense of claustrophobia, and a steadily mounting sense of tension as I went deeper and deeper within. It looks like Annie found SkyrimIt's all about the hatsAnnie updates her mapAnnie vs. Bugsy SiegelTwo to the headAnnie has been saving this gun for just this occasionBenny meets the same fate as Bugsy Siegel

WOOOOOOOOT !!! I've never noticed it in my own game, but was really surprised to see the image for Benny's crippled head looked very female and oriental! ROFL !!! I will most def have to look much more closely the next time I play to see if my game shows the same way, lol. How could I have missed seeing that? I love Annie's showdown with Benny, it looks like the fight really lasted a while! What a battle! Annie and the map = "Annie get your shovel!" I loved that little mini=quest, really loved carrying around a shovel and finding graves out in my travels and digging them up, lol. I know Annie is just north of Jacobstown in the "Skyrim" screen, she must be getting those stealth boys! I see she has Lily following! Is she a good follower? I've never tried Lily out, was a bit leery if she'd work with a stealth character, lol. (Ed-E didn't, but was a lot of fun anyway, lol). Annie is making me homesick for Vegas, I am loving taking this tour with her! ** What you said above about the rain forest - you described it much better than I could have, but said exactly how it felt in there. That place gave me the creeps! This post has been edited by mALX: Jan 23 2015, 06:10 AM

By Kynareth’s wings, it does indeed look like Annie found Skyrim! I see that Annie is all about hats the way some elves are all about shoes. . . . Annie and the map – “Turn left at the third bottle. . . . mALX is right: Annie get yer gun! I can certainly understand killing that guy based solely on that fashion faux pas he probably calls a jacket.

mALX: You are right, Benny does look Asian in those pics! I didn't notice it either, until you pointed it out. Annie did carry around a shovel for a while. But she just didn't have the heart to dig people up. Lonesome Dove didn't have any qualms though. She dug up everything she came across. One day I might try playing a character who uses the shovel as their main weapon, like the Shoveler from Mystery Men! Annie only used Lily as a follower for the quest to investigate the Nightstalkers outside of Jacobstown. She was pretty handy there though. She comes with a car bumper sword that she is pretty good with. Her dialogue is a lot of fun, she keeps calling you her granddaughter/son. Annie didn't pick up any stealth boys though. I think she only has one at the moment, and I think she has only ever used one or two in the entire time I have played her. Acadian: Cyrodiil is right next door from where I took that Skyrim pic, but I already took a pic of that with Aurora. I have found that Annie loves her hats. She tries on almost every piece of headgear she finds. She claims it is all about keeping out of the sun, but I don't believe it... Poor Benny, he inherited his suit from his real-life inspiration - Bugsy SiegelAnnie learns the Legend of the StarThe Strip at nightWelcome to Nellis AFBI am sure Acadian recognizes this classic planeJust when you thought it was safe to go back in the waterLook what Annie found in Lake MeadeFloating SuperfortressThis post has been edited by SubRosa: Jan 24 2015, 08:42 PM

OMG, I hope you can get screens of that B29 in flight over the dam!!! Or any screens of that battle, I haven't ever made it to the battle yet!!!
Aurora is knock-dead gorgeous, I love those sunglasses on her! Not sure how I missed that screen last time, but I just caught it.
I've got to love the rain one - favorite! I have never seen rain in either wastelands, so that stunned me - and it looks like you captured the same sensation in Annie, perfect expression to reflect her confusion at what was happening.
These are all great shots, I am really wanting to learn more about this DLC, especially about the Tribal tea!
Loved this whole update, Thank you so much for sharing these!

Zion is spectacular! Drops of water indeed. Precious stuff in the desert for sure. Settin’ for a spell got me excited. First at the prospect of magic spellcasting in FONV, and secondly at the prospect that one could cast a spell while sitting! Shaman’s tea. . . now is that more like mALX’s famous vampire juices or perhaps more related to yellow snow? Ghostbusting, or ‘Shoot first, ask questions later’ – good words to live by. Won’t be shakin’ hands with that l’il filly. Nosiree. Burned man. Not familiar with this, but the image and possibilities are indeed evocative. As ever, a nice selection of shots and wonderful peek into your game.

A new hat for Annie the Ranger! Wow, an ICBM that somehow didn’t get used? Love the signs and how you included them for your screens. Very sobering, are they not? Broken tortured land. . . that almost looks inspired by the Deadlands. I know, I know, stuck in TES. . . .
