I wonder what happened to the first...?

I would have loved to have seen Christopher Ecclesiastes for another season or two. Though I understand that they had to kill them off to tell the story they wanted to. But it would have been nice to have finished the second or third season with the Daleks attacking the station, instead of the first.



That was my first impression of Matt Smith, from his very first episode as the Doctor. He seemed to be trying to copy Tenant's wackiest moments, and take it even further. Which immediately made me dislike him. He didn't seem to start becoming his own character until his last season. One thing I really like about the new Attack-Eyebrows Doctor is that he is not trying to be the same. He very quickly went off in his own direction, and established that he was a very different person from the previous Doctors.


Especially when said to someone named Alonso!

Anyone have shut thoughts on the 12th doctor?

I haven't watched any of the new shows since Matt's debut. (didn't have cable TV for that whole year, so couldn't have watched it anyway then)

Is that the new one, let me look up the name... Peter Capaldi? I watched his season a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed it. The writing is pretty ho-hum. But Capaldi gives a wonderful performance as The Doctor, and Clara is one of my favorite companions, even if she does have a Nixon-nose. She gives Martha serious competition for being my favorite. I would say it is worth watching, definitely better than the Matt Smith years.

In other news, I just had the villains kidnap one of the players' parents in the game of Pathfinder I'm running. It's stuff like this why most RPG heroes are orphans with no significant others. They are prime kidnapping fodder.

When I put my jigsaw puzzles together I often listen to classical music. For whatever reason it makes me feel like a serial killer...

I got two discs for free when I had just moved in to my apartment and around that time I was quite heavy with the puzzles, I guess that´s why I listen to it while putting the small pieces together. Also, I don´t listen to it normally and sometimes I like to do what I normally don´t, even if that´s rare.


One of the discs is called Castle Music and the other has music from Mozart and that´s the one I prefer. Gotta love this opening!

That is def a good song for a budding serial killer to listen to as they begin to unravel; plucking away at the puzzle pieces as they spiral down into madness ... "BWAAHAAAHAAA!!!!"
