QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 21 2015, 11:10 AM) Aw Mirocu, it must be getting bad again with that neighbor for you to have reached this point of stress over it. I am so sorry you are going through this! *mALX attempts to hug bird friend* This is what is going on in my neck of the woods: http://www.wbir.com/story/news/2015/02/19/...in-tn/23675861/

Wow, just caught up with the last twenty pages of the old coffee shop. How lovely it is to find out what all the members have been up to recently. I am still in shock about mALX and her health problems (my Dad had a stroke in May 2000 and never really walked again, lost his left side and unfortunately it was many hours before they discovered him and got him to the hospital), then to discover the shut down of the mALX's internet and financial pain (oh man, I cannot believe how hard that would be for her, mALX lived and breathed logging on each day...), then her father (wolf lays his head on his paws and moans...). So please accept my love mALX. And what is this about an impostor?? Lucky I didn't find about this at the time. My kitty with the red hair means the world to me. An area flame spell would have sorted it out, Maxical style. Next I find out about Haute and the car accident. Horrible damage to the front end and she was so lucky there. We spend years dealing with horse related injuries and death and think that by moving onto vehicles that we are safer. Well we are, of course, but the danger is still there. My love to you HER and so happy you were not injured. And a certain new year proposal to a lucky lady in front of others. Ha! There is no way I would have the courage to do that. Just when you think you know the other half you find out that you really don't.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Feb 28 2015, 02:10 PM) Wolf, it's great to see you again! How have you been and what is going on down under? Are you still playing TES?
Thanks old friend. Yes, I am still playing Beth games, I cannot ever really stop, must be some sort of addiction there. Playing Fallout 3 at the moment and are at around 255 hours on the latest character. I plan to stop at 300 and then build a Dunmer for Oblivion. You will see me over at Beth forums when we get there. I guess what drove me back was that every time I play Point Lookout I think about mALX saying years ago that she fully explored all the underwater areas down there, and for some reason that conversation has always stayed inside. When I play that dlc I think of her. Then I started thinking, 'What is going on with the old team?' So here I am. Thanks Destri. I hear some rumors that you are writing again. Well, sort of. My first role here is to catch up on your epic adventure. You know how much I love it. Thanks mALX. My thoughts are with you. To all- I am certainly glad to be back. Unfortunately I have been in a dark place over the last few years. Nothing like the sort of things that you guys and girls have been going through, more just mental stuff, clouded thoughts, over-active imagination. I was in no position to be able to read or write anybody's story. Things are much better now and as Morrison said- 'Words got me the wound and will get me well.'

I’m happy to see you again, Winter Wolf! In Grits world we talk about those dark times as being in the cave. (We also describe the period of time that one is at home with a newborn as being in the cave, but for different reasons. ) Anyway I’m glad to hear that the mental clouds are parting. Also Happy St. David’s Day! It’s all snow and freezing rain here today, so this picture from last year or thereabouts is too accurate!

I really did, too - but don't know how in the world I did it! I played in Point Lookout yesterday and every time I got in the water those swamp lurks were all over me !!!

Thank you Mr Treydog for the kind welcome back. Much appreciated. Over the years I have often wondered what you thought of Skyrim and the journey back to Solstheim? I guess that movies and games can never live up to the image in the mind's eye, no? QUOTE(McBadgere @ Mar 1 2015, 08:03 AM) I hope your being back here helps...Them's decent folks here... ... Thanks for the warm welcome McB!! You are damn right about that. Very few people in this world will call a spade a spade. Most just choose to sit on the sidelines and say nothing, and then when you call them out, they get upset about it. That is what I appreciate about Chorrol, people will pick you up when you are down, but they will also put a foot up your backside when you need it. I notice you have a story with the title- Mystery, Signs and Portents. Man that is a hook line right there! I must have a wander over there soon. Thanks Grits!! Much appreciated. The cave analogy is spot on!! And nice pic. Melbourne has summer right now but I can still adore the snow. Ahh, mALX, you and the underwater at Point Lookout will always stay with me, quite simply because I have no idea how you did it.

I got to the sub in this game, and to the boat for the soil samples quest - but both times I was being attacked the whole way, and even unarmed doesn't work while swimming. Barely survived it !!! It isn't like me to give up, but I did this time. Glad I have the memories of all that underwater treasure and seeing the dinosaur bones to remember though !!!

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Mar 15 2015, 12:58 AM) Good luck. I have been fighting the flu since last Sunday, and it has not been pleasant.
That is because you have been trying to find a cure for the problem in the Pitt. Seriously though, I hope all is improving. Acadian- I hope all is well, brother. You should have listened to your wife and had that vegemite like you were told.
