Just found out one of my old teachers has died. He had Parkinsons apparently and didn´t get too old. I liked him, and it´s a shame he´s gone way too early. Glad I had him as a teacher

By the way, did you see the Big Bang where Sheldon is trying to train Penny out of bad habits by feeding her chocolates to reinforce good behavior? I saw it tonight for the first time, lol.

I´ve seen that many times and it´s always funny

I've finished all my research now ... Just gotta start writing!

Just came back from a visit at a relative´s place. He owns much woodlands, houses, machines etc etc. He´s always working on several projects at once and they usually take 5-10 years to complete because he does so many things in between. They involve electricians and carpenters who work on and off when they can/want, they drive around buying things, restoring them and installing them. Also usually involved is making roads re-accessable for cars.


Blimey, it´s good to get a little perspective sometimes...

Holy Cow, they can do everything! I guess you know who to call if you have a project needs doing within a ten year time frame!

They´re crazy, but I truly admire their ability to not let the projects hang over them like a dark cloud. If it was me I´d probably get depressed over that nothing ever gets finished, but they sure don´t have that problem

Hello forumites. How's it going?

I had a question. I apologize for the random intrusion.

Okay so I've been going through a few interesting scenarios in real life, and such things sort of planted a curiosity about the human mind and psychology. Long, uninteresting story made very, very short . . .

Anyone here know how to truly brainwash yourself? Erase certain thought patterns and create a reality so untrue that ultimately CAN become true by making your MIND believe it was true? Anyone ever delved in such subject? I'd love to brainwash myself . . . not to the point to believe unicorns are real or I have three heads.

Don't ask why . . . I'd rather not get into the reason.
