QUOTE(Renee @ Mar 28 2015, 01:04 AM) Well hey, that's a start!
What were you using to clean them? I seem to remember wiping alcohol onto their metal grid thingies, right?
I guess I used the stuff I use irl; a household cleaner and q-tips. You´re right about using alcohol though, I think most people who clean these games use that. This night I had several dreams, one after another. Quite interesting ones but the best was the one where I was a bicycle deliverer in London! You know, one who uses that bicycle that doesn´t have any brakes. Instead you have to pedal backwards to slow down if you have to. Sorry for not writing about a game dream, Ms Off-topic Renee!

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 22 2015, 03:41 AM) QUOTE(Renee @ Mar 22 2015, 12:39 AM) Well it's awesome you're having some videogame dreams!
Mebbe, but I wanna dream about Oblivion, not zombies!! I've never had any dreams about any characters - not even Maxical; but I have dreamed of Oblivion, walking along the shore of the Rumare or Niben looking for Nirnroot and hearing the music playing (mainly because I fell asleep playing the game and so was actually hearing the music, lol). I've fallen asleep playing Fallout 3 and fallen through a gap in the bridge - heard the death music playing and woke up, lol. This post has been edited by mALX: May 11 2015, 10:49 AM

Hooray mirocu! That made me smile about the board game. Yah, I can see dreaming about Cyrodiil, it's a good place to go. I wonder if anybody has any Shivering Isles dreams? I had an awful dream last night, it was very long, and had nothing to do with gaming, but a friend of mine jumped off a building. She survived the jump (somebody caught her 20 stories below) but it was stilll freaky and frightening.

I think dreams like that mean something; like maybe this person is about to take the next step in a relationship and you are worried about them making a huge mistake or something. Dreams like that reflect a reality that is not ever the exact thing you dream, but a symbolic indicator of the issue that is most important to your subconscious at the time. They can be prophetic; but the prophecy is not the actual dream (the prophecy that can come true is the symbol the dream represents; not the dream itself).

I know what that dream was about, actually. She's trying to decide whether or not she should move back west. She's a west-coast gal. mALX, you might know the difference between west coast (laid back) and east coast (more guarded and not quite as friendly) since you live in America. Anyways, she's never felt at home here, and she's probably going to move back west. I hope she does. She has no idea what'll be in store for her when she gets back there, no job, no where to go, that sort of thing. But I think the guy catching her represents the fact that she'll be okay. She's got the best Luck, anyways. If we could put this into Attribute terms, her Luck would be rather high. Certainly over 60.

The leap is obvious - she is opting to make the risky change. Falling is always fear of the unknown future. Someone else catching her - you are right, in your mind this man will save her from the risky part of her decisions. (that doesn't mean he will, only that your subconscious believes he will). But it all boils down to that you are worried about her and this decision she is making. You must be very close to her and are internalizing her fears - making them your own.

QUOTE(Renee @ May 13 2015, 06:54 PM) Thanks, that helps actually. Sometimes it helps if somebody else interprets, since you're not as emotionally involved as I am.
I had a Kahreem dream the other day, but it was one of those which I don't remember much about. Dang. I really want to meet him, and remember doing so. But I think I WAS him in the dream. That's usually how these things work.
Yeah, well I studied dream interpretations as an elective in college, lol. (truth). Horses are sex, water of any kind means you probably need to wake up and make a trip to the restroom, lol. (and the more water you see or if it is moving, the quicker you better make that trip too, lol). This post has been edited by mALX: May 14 2015, 07:08 PM

I once had a dream which a therapist interpreted for me. I forget what it was about, but it featured a bunch of fish which were swimming in mid-air. I had no idea what it meant. "Feel like a fish out of water, Renee?" XD ...and that was it. Like the expression goes, I was in a situation which made me feel like a fish out of water.

I just had one of the most interesting dreams ever. Very Twilight Zone-ish. Quite long, but I will try to bring it down. I am still bleary with sleep as I write this I was travelling alone, not sure where I was. But I wound up at some house, and liked the guy I met who was living there. Dang, see, already some details are slipping. Anyways, I met this guy there, he's living in this huge old house, full of all sorts of books and whatnot. I fell in love with the place immediately. We start chatting, me and this guy. He's sort of college-aged. I got the impression that he lived in the past, and I mean turn-of-century past (1900, not 2000). He seemed to think he lived in the past, too. But then I noticed a lot of his books were not really from the past, and the clothes he was wearing looked rather modern. I let the matter slip. As I am walking through his house, other people begin to show up, all very nice. I really liked everyone I met. Some are children, some are my age. My own child was not with me though, neither was anybody else I currently know in my everyday life. But that was okay. I figured I would stay with these people awhile. And they were okay with this. Everything was cool. We did some running around their yard, which was very bizarre. Their yard went up above the house, I mean way above. I am afraid of heights, so it took me awhile to come back down, but then I was telling the guy (the host I initially met) that I noticed my fear was not so crippling this time. In no time, I had come down from this huge hill, and was back in the house. At some point, now it is some sort of dinner time. Everybody is in the house, and I mean at least 20 people, all gathered together having a good time. I had lost my clothes at some point, and was freaked about this, but eventually I found them, and nobody noticed anyways. Now it gets interesting. Outside the house, a man was working on some old car, which was nice & gleaming, lots of chrome, even underneath. The car was in the air, and the man was under it. A bunch of people (children mostly) ran outside to look. Then all the sudden, the car FELL on the man, and I am FREAKING OUT, but nobody inside the house does much of anything. I'm like "is there a phone? We need to call 911". Nobody really does much of anything. I look outside, and the people outside are still there, and the man gets out from under the car. His face is all bruised, but he stands right up. Apparently he did not get crushed. But still, nobody in the house makes a move. I look at them, they're all just sitting there, stonewalled. Then I noticed the all the people outside, the man, the children, they're gone. They all disappeared. I go to the door, to go outside, and somebody warns me "don't go out there." And I'm like "what are you crazy, we have to go out!" Nobody does anything. So I'm like screw this. I go outside, while somebody warns me again, but I just had to go out. Nobody is out there now, and the car is gone, too. I go running around the spot where the man's car was. As I run around, there's a tree there now, and an old Maya Angelou-ish looking lady is sitting on a bench in front of this tree. I turn to face her. As I turn to face her, I actually knew what was going on. I knew the mystery of the dream, and I knew it was a dream. "Maya" is sitting there, not smiling, looking rather smug. She's got a couple objects in her hands, one of them is this huge cane, which looks sort Egyptian. I grab the cane from her. I start pointing it at her, unafraid (maybe this is all my videogame bravery coming through here!), and taunting her, like some sort of magic is about to happen, just because I say this, and point my cane at her. She just sits there. Now she raises the other object in her hand, which is also some sort of cane. Points it at me. As she does so, I realized what was about to happen: the dream now ends. And that's the mystery. If you go outside when something "weird" happens, the dream ends. I feel like those people inside that house (who seemed so real) are still stuck in the dream somewhere, just like in a Twilight Zone episode. This post has been edited by Renee: Jul 21 2015, 07:03 PM
