QUOTE(mALX @ Jun 14 2015, 01:04 PM) ** Am I the only one who has fallen in love with the Betty Netches? OMG, I LOVE them! That sound they make is so peaceful and pleasant!
Jerric loves to wander the hills where the netches and guar herds are grazing. The quiet pockets of Morrowind are just gorgeous. hazmick, I love that Haa Rei got to visit his hatching pool. The picture of him with Lyris Titanborn is my favorite yet. I love the armor he is wearing, and it’s great news that we’ll get to save Lyris somehow. She does indeed look like a Titan standing next to Haa Rei! Here are some from Jerric: Inside Ash Mountain. Great day for fishing. Say, did you hear something?Geared up for the fight. But he had to strip down again and swim across first. Back on the far shore cleaning the catch. Jerric’s greeting to this captive made me grin.

I never fished in Skyrim, is it this good there too? With the cleaning fish and everything? That is amazing! Oh, I am going to have to fish now, that is really exciting for roleplay to even see him cleaning the fish! And the bobber in the water fishing! Does it really bob up and down and everything? Oh no, oh dear. I am supposed to be "talking to" that same person, and last time I looked the marker was in Ash Mountain ... where I got killed a hundred times trying to find the Skyshard and never found it !!!! Urk. I was really not wanting to go back in there, so pushed that quest aside while I did a few easier ones (hoping to get the courage up to go back in, I guess).

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jun 19 2015, 09:12 AM) I love how you can wear your shield on your back. Can you use a two-handed weapon with a shield on your back? Or is that just where your shield goes when you sheath your sword?
That’s my favorite of Jerric’s shields. I love looking at it while he walks around. The shield is shown on the character when it’s equipped in the off-hand, stowed on the back when the one-handed weapon is sheathed. Equipping a greatsword fills both hands and un-equips the shield. I haven’t tried it but I doubt that the shield would show on the character’s back when it wasn’t equipped. QUOTE(mALX @ Jun 19 2015, 02:13 PM) Oh no, oh dear. The battle inside Ash Mountain is pretty tough, so you have a good idea to be prepared. It took some strategy and a few potions, plus Jerric ate his best food before the fight. It was very satisfying, though, and now some folks call him the Hero of Ash Mountain. Unlike some other titles he really feels like he earned this one!

Urk, now I'm really glad I didn't take this one right away. I thought originally they just showed the Captain right outside the gates and that maybe if I hurried I could catch her before she ends up in Ash Mountain. I really hated Ash mountain badly, and those horrible evil monkeys with their fire spells were worse than the spiders - and all of them attacked in groups, no singular attacks! Gaaaaah. I might take some time and do some Provisionary stuff first, get myself psyched up to do it, lol.

The evil monkeys sound like those scamps that burned the hells out of Jerric every time he turned around in that area. Those runes they cast on the ground, ugh! Killing so many of them made him level up in the Fighters Guild. He used Reflective Light from the Dawn’s Wrath skill line against them a lot, since it hits up to three targets. He loves being a Templar. The fight inside Ash Mountain is the very last battle in the whole big quest, and you know you are going to do it because you use a portal to get in there. Don’t worry about getting forced in without warning, you will know it’s coming.

QUOTE(hazmick @ Jun 19 2015, 03:35 PM) Fishing and heroism - the Story of Jerric.
Great shots. Those pesky anchors are always ruining the peace and quiet, Molag Bal is terribly rude.
Love the final picture. I do hope he remembered to wear a shirt for the rescue mission.
hazmick, lol. Jerric has a near-Saxhleel affinity for warm water, so he’s been shirtless a lot around Ebonheart. Not in the city, though. Or when rescuing Dunmeri lasses lieutenants.

Hey, how does Jerric level up in the fighters guild killing the fire-monkey things? Is that a separate quest for them or does just joining the Fighters Guild give bonuses for combat/killing?

Once you join the Fighters Guild you get their skill line, and you can put skill points into it just like any other skill line. The way you increase the Fighters Guild skill is by killing daedra and possibly undead, I’m not really sure. Kind of the way making potions levels up your Alchemy skill and making daggers levels up Blacksmithing. He also got a notice that his Fighters Guild skill had increased after he helped close a Dark Anchor, and that was all about daedra and undead killing. Okay, so it is possible that all my fighting in Ash Mountain did gain me some skill in the Fighters Guild - that is nice to know, at least something came of it, lol. Thank you for the info!!!

While Jerric is all warm and toasty in Ash Mountain, Haa Rei freezes his scales off in Skyrim. This particular ruin is so cold that you have to run from campfire to campfire to stop yourself freezing to death. Charming place. Thankfully Haa Rei found a Nord crafting book, so he made some warmer clothes upon his return to Riften. He also dyed them and crafted a matching staff. It just wouldn't do to look shabby. QUOTE(Grits @ Jun 20 2015, 12:41 AM) He never gets to tell cute books that he’s there to rescue them. Not with that attitude The Mages Guild is a fun questline, and there's plenty of stuff for Jerric to punch, stab, slash, bash, and generally wound.

OMG, when I saw the first shot I thought that wiggly thing was his arms; like they were still injured from that battle where his arms glowed! It freaked me out till I looked closer and saw his arms were warming himself and that was a staff on his back, I love the armor, and dying to know how dying clothing works! I tried to dye Misa's greaves pink, but couldn't figure out how to do it, lol. Boy do these shots give the feeling that it is freezing there! And that cave where it is so cold you have to stay near campfires - that is awesome, they really went all out in this game! QUOTE(hazmick @ Jun 20 2015, 09:02 PM) Haa Rei left the snowy peaks of Skyrim behind today as his journey continued into the hellish realm of Coldharbour. Having a great deal of fun fighting daedra, but the landscape is incredibly bleak. There are still plenty of damsels to rescue though. The lovely Lamias also seem to enjoy the lute. The fun continues elsewhere, and one weird potion later... That's Haa-Rei on the left, and Maximus the Scuttler on the right. Odd being the smallest and least reptilian person in the room. Oh, these people look like Tsaesci or something! Haa Rei turned into a monkey = I love these shots! This post has been edited by mALX: Jun 21 2015, 06:43 AM
