Glad everyone enjoyed the swamp scene. You'll be happy to hear that Haa-Rei will be leaving High Rock soon. The Alik'r Desert calls. Bretonland hasn't all been bad though, there's plenty of fun to be had. You'll also be pleased to hear that we decided on a more Daggerfall Covenant friendly outfit. Perfect for hiding from all those high and mighty nobles that keep telling Haa-Rei to help them.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Jun 26 2015, 02:23 PM) Wow, that looks like Haa-Rei sending in his clannfear to fight a daedroth?
I like to think of it as a brave clannfear protecting its master from the abnormally large daedroth A young man approached Haa-Rei today and asked him to help save his fiance. Turns out an Orc servant girl had a thing for this guys fiance, and the fiance's noblewoman mother didn't approve. Noblewoman mother decided that the only course of action was to ask a daedra for help. Haa-Rei has decided that noblewoman mother is an idiot, but he still helped out once he saw what was going on in their basement. Finally managed to switch it on with some conjuration know-how, and dove right in.This post has been edited by hazmick: Jun 26 2015, 06:43 PM

Pleased to see you all (more or less) enjoyed the Deadlands. Or enjoyed seeing it, at least. Haa-Rei has finally managed to finish his business in High Rock, and has moved to Hammerfell. The Alik'r desert is lovely this time of year. Plenty of sand and necromancy. We're not too sure about the fashion though. Decided to just dye the regular Argonian gear some desert-y colours instead. To business then, and Haa-Rei has been helping out at a water farm and enjoying some lizard racing. I hesitate to add that Haa-Rei didn't participate in the lizard race, but we are pleased to see that reptiles are so highly prized in Redguard society. The rest of Tamriel could learn a thing or two from these folks... Updates: We found a crafting station so decided to make some more comfortable armor. Went with the Khajiit design, and the Breton style hood (since it has a handy anti-sand mask). Decided to hunt some Dunerippers as a field test. Think of them as a cross between crocodiles and armadillos. The armor was a success. This post has been edited by hazmick: Jun 28 2015, 01:20 AM

Can you feed them up like you can with horses? I love this desert area, it looks so well done! Acadian used a mod of Elsweyr that was desert area, and it looked fantastic too; (and Skyrim had a desert mod that was awesome as well) - and so far I haven't actually gotten to play any of them. Is the desert area an area you have to be a veteran rank to play? These are all great shots, I'm really loving seeing what is ahead!

Acadian - glad you like it. I'll be getting some more desert pics just for you mALX - No bare legs, just bare arms. Yep, you can feed up your guar just like a horse. The desert is the 4th area of the Daggerfall Covenant, so I'm not sure what level it'll be for someone in that alliance. It's veteran for me since Haa-Rei is Ebonheart Pact. So we had another fun filled romp through Alik'r today. Met the mother of all Dunerippers, dressed up as an Imperial, and found the style book which lets Haa-Rei craft Dwemer chest armor. Haa-Rei says he'll craft a Dwemer robe to show you all once he finishes his current quest. He's very excited about it.

And I love that cuirass!!! Or is it the waist piece that has that gorgeous buckle? Awesome!!!

QUOTE(Grits @ Jun 30 2015, 10:00 PM) For once Jerric met a naked-er Nord. Fishing outside Mournhold. Fishing in Evergloam. It was too dangerous there to even take his hood off. Cute frog. They’re everywhere. (And they don’t try to kill you.) I LOVE the frogs! They are so cute !!! I've seen naked Nord NPC's in Morrowind, but so far the only nude Nords I;ve seen in ESO have been Players, lol. Say, approximately how much gold can you earn doing writs? QUOTE(Grits @ Jun 30 2015, 10:33 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Jun 30 2015, 10:22 PM) Say, approximately how much gold can you earn doing writs?
I think Jerric is earning mid 300-some gold for these low-level writs, but the extra skill progression and occasional nice item to deconstruct in the reward pack makes it worthwhile. Alchemy has been easy since you find what you need for free. He has to buy some style materials to complete the blacksmithing ones. And he’s been stuck on his second provisioning one for ages since he didn’t have the recipe. This was after the “white meat” disaster. But Lil found the recipe for him! Woo! That is one of the few good things about sharing a bank account, being able to place a needed item for one character in the bank for the other to get. But you can "mail" stuff to other players too (not other characters on your account). I've sent stuff to my son's account for him to use (or store in his bank if he has room). Then if I ask he can mail it back if he still has it. You can either send stuff as a gift or have an arrangement to mail items to them and they will hold them till you ask and then mail them back - as long as you get them within 30 days it is okay, but on the 30th day the game deletes mail in your box. But you can send out stuff as presents too, people gave Misa a lot of enchanted armor when she first started, and I've sent gifts to other people too - mostly potions Misa made on my son's account. It is kind of cool to be able to give gifts to other players. This post has been edited by mALX: Jul 1 2015, 04:20 AM
