Unfortunately the wall in question is right up against the street, so there's literally nothing that can be done about it.

Still I suppose it's pretty good to have during the winter.

Yeah, I'd say it warms the house up good in the winter.

Heh, I think the council might get annoyed if I turn the house into a hazard to motorists laugh.gif

And those solar panels wouldn't last a week before someone nicked them.

Maybe I could cover it in tinfoil and tell everyone that I'm protecting it from the influence of alien mind control laugh.gif

Tin foil is reflective, so it will cool down the house - and you can call it art!

I've never liked the beach.

Me neither. When I was younger, I would dig my hands deep in the mushy mud and let the clams nibble at my skin, but Galveston beach has so much glass and stuff that it's hard to do that now. It's so trashy.

I do enjoy walking around sunset, searching for sand dollars and shark's teeth, though. My family has a superstition that if you found a shark's teeth, you would have a lucky month. If you found a fully intact sand dollar, you would have a blessed year. I've always nearly found a shark's teeth, but my brother would find it after I lost it, and I've only found partial sand dollars.

But open water scares me. If I can't see to the bottom, I don't want to go in. I once stepped on a flounder...twice... my mom said she's never seen me sprint up to the shore so fast in her life, lol

Then there was a time when my brother got pinched very close to his special man parts XD

I just get freaked out by large quantities of water. I can't even go swimming. The second I get in the water I tremble uncontrollably from head to foot, so much that my teeth chatter. Swimming lessons when I was at school were nothing short of torture for me.

Sometimes I challenge it by seeing how long I can endure standing on a bridge over the river in the park nearby.

And that last part had me wincing ohmy.gif

I'm still wincing laugh.gif I can't help it, I'm a guy.

Urgh. Don't talk to me about boats. I get very seasick. The only time I've been on a boat I was literally green when I got back on land. And that was just going down the Thames.*shudders*

We used to go on my grandfather's boat, but for some reason I suddenly became afraid of water. I can't place when, though. Nothing particularly terrible happened.

That's kinda weird. Maybe something did happen, but you've blocked the memory of it?

But can we move on from the subject of water? I don't mean to be rude or anything, but it's giving me goosebumps.
