QUOTE(Acadian @ Jul 26 2015, 06:02 PM) Great to see you McB! Acadian!!... ... Y'alright mate?... ... Aaaamywho... Having read an article about an upcoming expansion made me realise that the only thing I really want to play at the moment is Destiny, when I feel the need to play, this is what I'm doing... Fortunately it's one of them games where you can go to it, get something specific to achieve (in the form of "Rewarding" bounties/missions) and then go shoot aliens inna head for an hour... Simple and devoid of any real need for thought...Properly loving that aspect of it at the moment...

It properly did my head in at the time...Not too difficult, I appreciate...But the sameyness and the "Have I been here?" so often got a bit much... Plus, the ferrying of stuffs down from the ship got to the point where a Deathclaw kept spawning at the teleport point...And Dogmeat... Oh my...Thus ended the original Arnaud's game... This afto, for a time...I SHOT ALIENS INNA HEAD!!!!!... Ahhhhh...Simple pleasures for a simple man... ... This post has been edited by McBadgere: Aug 1 2015, 06:00 PM

QUOTE(hazmick @ Aug 3 2015, 10:37 AM) Got ~60 hours into Dragon Age: Inquisition and suddenly thought "Hey, I wonder what it would be like with a different character!" and started again. My new Dalish Elf Inquisitoress looks gorgeous though, so playing back through the game will be a delight.
For me, looking at a beautiful character makes the game that much better and more fun to play. And I like to try them in different outfits, and play in 3rd person so I can see them as they do everything in the game, lol. I remember when I first got the Kawa mod for Maxical that I just ran her back and forth just to see her in action and watch her tail bob around, lol.

Exactly. If you're going to spend hundreds of hours with a character, you might as well enjoy the view. I always end up choosing outfits that look good over those that actually are good. Like choosing leather and fur armor over glass.

Here she is looking sad in Anvil because the "Sutch" RP ended: This post has been edited by mALX: Aug 4 2015, 06:04 PM

Getting close to the end of DA:I with my favourite ever inquisitor. but while I wait for the war table operations to finish up (which can take up to 15 hours each, and there are loads of them) I've been playing Stronghold Legends. I love RTS games, and The Stronghold Collection is the only thing in my Steam library. In fact, it's the only reason I ever downloaded Steam in the first place. Being a console player doesn't afford me many opportunities for strategy games.

Because McWife keeps hassling me to play the Templar oriented Assassin's Creed: Rogue - which I have yet to do, despite its being out nearly a year now, because Templars...I don't understand... Anyways... Because effort, I can't go from Destiny PS4 to a brand new AC on PS3...So I'm going via my favourite, Assassin's Creed III...Because Haytham Kenway... *Sigh*...My heart isn't in this, but I'm sick of hearing, "You could play Rogue now..."... ... I liked Rogue. The Templar thing was a bit odd, considering I've spent several centuries helping the Assassins out. Game's fun though. It has penguins in. Haytham Kenway is there too - he hangs out on your ship sometimes while you sail about. I'm very close to finishing Inquisition. About to hit the 100 hour mark with Inquisitor Ellana. Some more DLC is being released tomorrow so I really want to get to a high enough level for it. Have an update to download first though and with my internet speed, it could literally take all day. Still haunted by the Master Chief Collection download that took 4 days. *shudders*

I like Inquisition, but the game bogs down terribly during the first 10-15 hrs. So far I haven't been able to progress far enough to turn my Herald of Andraste into the Inquisitor. Please tell me that things pick up once that happens.

Oh yeah. Once you get out of the *%&Ģ*% Hinterlands area the game gets more interesting. The first point I always hurry to get to is talking to Mother Giselle, who tells you to go to Val Royeux. Once you do that it opens up more areas to explore and more things to do. After you become Inquisitor the game fully opens up.
